AMP Journey: 2007 – 2024 | 17-year Achievements

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) was established in 2007 by a visionary group committed to making a meaningful difference to the Muslim community and the Nation. AMP’s non-sectarian and non-political platform has grown to empower not only Muslims but all citizens of India through initiatives focused on Education and Empowerment. Registered as a Section 8 Company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, AMP strives to support individuals regardless of caste or religion, with a strong emphasis on educational advancement.

Alhamdulillah, AMP has successfully completed 17 years of service, marking significant milestones with the collaboration of its dedicated team of members, donors, volunteers, partners and well-wishers. The collective strength of these individuals and institutions has been at the heart of AMP’s achievements. We have reached out to more than 200+ cities in India and 20+ countries abroad.

The year 2024 has been an exciting chapter in AMP’s journey. With immense dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, we have reached new heights. We are proud to present our 17-year journey Achievement Report, which reflects the major milestones we have achieved this year, from reaching out to more underprivileged families to implementing innovative strategies in projects like AMP National Talent Search (NTS).

Here are the highlights of AMP’s achievements over the last 17 years:

1. Employment Assistance Cell (EAC):

EAC undertakes ongoing initiatives like Job Fairs & Job Drives across the Country to provide the    youth with Career opportunities and empower them.

• 46,600+ needy candidates place in various Corporates
• 100+ Job Fairs & 600+ Job Drives organized all over the Country
• 5,000+ Youths provided Vocational Skill training
• 1 Lakh+ Candidates’ database accumulated (growing every day)

2. Employability Training Programs (ETP):

Employability Training Programs continue to equip final year college students and fresh graduates with the skills needed for starting a successful career.

• 540+ ETPs offline and online organised all over the Country
• 48,500+ final year   college students benefited 

3. AMPowerJobs:

A Job Portal free for job seekers with comprehensive offerings including Skill Training and Employability Training Programs (ETP). AMPowerjobs has registered impressive growth in last four years.

• 4,45,200+  - Vacancies listed
• 1,99,000+  - Candidates registered
• 1,200+         - Corporates registered

4. IndiaZakat:

IndiaZakat has grown into a leading platform for Zakat-based crowdfunding, connecting Zakat givers with those in need. IndiaZakat rose higher in its achievements in supporting the needy.

• 23 Cr+ (230+ Millions) - Total amount raised in Donations
• 75,000+ - Total number of Donations received
• 37,000+ families - Positively impacted across India
• 6,150+ - Total no. of. causes supported
• 1,000+ Cities - Donations received from
• 30+ States - From where Causes raised

5. AMP Zakat Fund:

Since its launch in 2013, AMP Zakat Fund has raised 8.5+ Crores and supported over 7,000+ needy individuals until 2024.

• 3,000+ Needy and deserving Students supported by funding their Higher Education
• 2,500+ Orphans supported for Basic Education
• 1,500+ Poor & unemployed Youth & few Maulanas supported with Self Employment Assistance

6. Adopt an Orphan / Poor Child Education Assistance:

This is AMP USA & IndiaZakat.com’s joint project to support needy Orphans & Poor children  throughout India. The objective of this project is to provide them with the means to bear their Education & other basic expenses partially or fully through a sustained sponsorship from a dedicated donor.

• 1050+ Orphans & Poor Children helped with Education assistance
• 1000 Orphans & Poor Children are targeted to be supported by end of currentfinancial year.

7. Ulema Support Program:

      In 2023, AMP has launched a special cause on IndiaZakat to support Masjid Imams and augment their
      incomes so they too can take care of their family’s needs.

• 106 Maulanas supported with Rs. 16 Lakhs allocation
• Project to be expanded across regions to support Ulema livelihoods

8. AMP National Talent Search Exam:

This is a National Level Talent Search, which is organized for High School, Junior & Senior/Degree College Students, with an objective to increase and reward the Students’ General Awareness and identify the brightest students to support and nurture. AMP tied up with training institutes for Coaching Scholarships in IIT-JEE/NEET and other competitive exams.

• 3,10,000+ students registered across all categories so far
• 900+ exam centres set up across 350+ districts and 750+ blocks
• Rs 10 Cr+ worth scholarships to be awarded to the top 500 students
• 25 Training Partners all over India offering 100% - 50% coaching scholarships

9. AMP World Mobile App:

The AMP World Mobile App continues to provide valuable educational resources to students, parents, and educators.

• 2,00,000+ student downloads
• 50,000+ students have taken the online NTS exam via the app
• Access to Career and Scholarship guidance, Community news, and Educational content

10. Teachers’ Training Programs:

AMP organizes Teacher Training Programs, that aim to provide valuable insights to Teachers/Professors/Academicians to enhance their teaching methods for the benefit of their Students as well for their own Professional growth.

• 50+ Offline & Online TTPs organised
• 9,500+ Educators impacted across the Country

11. School Development Programs (SDP):

        School Development Program (SDP) is one of AMP's main Flagship Projects which has been the
       most impactful as well. Alhamdulillah! We have conducted innumerable SDP programs;

• 3.24+ Lakhs Students have benefited so far
• Online as well as offline SDP lectures conducted across the Country

12. Career Guidance Seminars (CGS):

AMP organises Career Guidance Seminars (CGS) across the country every year. These seminars are especially designed for 10th & 12th std. Students and their Parents for helping them to choose the correct pathway for their future.

• 38,000+ Schools & College students benefitted
• 50+ different Cities reached across India

13. AMP NGO Connect:

Through its NGO Connect project AMP has collaborated with NGOs in many cities across the Country on     various projects. Through NGO Connect, AMP aims to drive social impact across the Country.

• 7,500+ NGOs connected.
• Collaborated for projects like National Talent Search Exam, Job Fairs & Job Drives, Employability Training Programs and others.
• NGO meetings held, NGO capacity building implemented, NGO Conferences attended.

14. AMP National Awards for Social Excellence (NGO Awards):

AMP instituted these Awards in 2021 for appreciating the commendable work of several NGOs, Individuals & Changemakers and for their outstanding contribution to Nation Building. So far;

• 650+ Organizations and
• 450+ Individual Change Makers have been honored from across the country.

15. AMP National Awards for Excellence in Education:

AMP confers its National Award for Excellence in Education every year on Teachers Day. We have so far has honored;

• 800+ Influential Educators (Heads of Institution, Madaris Teachers, Higher Education Teachers, Primary & Secondary School Teachers)
• 67 Educational Institutions and
• 20 Visionaries with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

16. Higher Education Roadmap:

        AMP’s expert consultations have focused on preparing a strategic roadmap to address the low enrolment of       
        Muslims in higher education. AMP continued its efforts to improve higher education outcomes for the     
        Muslim community.

• Meetings conducted in various cities across the Country
• Academicians, policymakers, social leaders and experts were invited to discuss educational challenges and solutions.

17. AMP Centres of Excellence (ACE):

      AMP Centre of Excellence (ACE) is a coaching centre for preparing the brightest minds of class XI & XII
      Science students (Junior College/PUC) for some of the elite entrance exams of our country. These are based
      on a Hybrid Learning Model with Online as well Classroom training and highly subsidized to cater to the 
      brilliant but financially weak students so that no meritorious students are left without an equal opportunity
      The focus is currently on NEET, JEE Mains plus Advance & CA Foundation, and will be expanded to cover 
      more exams.

• 60 ACE Centres have been setup across the Country so far.
• 1000+ Students have enrolled at these Centres

18. AMP Institution Connect:

With a view to provide the benefits of our flagship programs to the Student Community across the Country, AMP has started the Institution Connect initiative. Under this, AMP connects with Colleges & Institutions of Higher Education in India and implements its programs in their Campus.

• 65 Institutes of Higher Education signed an MOU with AMP across India
• 3 Faculty Development Program (FDP) with registrations crossing 800+ Educators
• 1 Management Development Program (Establishing & Managing Educational Institutions) attended by 320+ + participants
• 15 Eminent Educators from Higher Educational Institutions engaged as Member of Jury for NAEE 2023
• 19 Advisory Board Members on NTS engaged from Higher Educational Institutions across India

19. AMP NGO Conference for North India:

AMP organised its first ever NGO Conference for North India in Lucknow in 2023. It was the first of its kind action-oriented meeting where prominent Community leaders, Government representatives, Social leaders, Thinkers, top Development sector professionals, Civil society activists & NGOs in huge numbers sat together and deliberated on Community Development and Nation Building agenda for the next 25 years as well for the immediate action plan.

• 600+ Delegates participated from all aspirational districts of North India
• 150+ North Indian districts represented at the conference
• 50+ Prominent speakers from across India addressed the Conference

20. AMP Internship Program:

The benefits of an Internship Program for the Students are well known. AMP has been helping College students with Summer Internship with many batches of interns working all round to bring the dreams of the less fortunate and needy to life, by donating their invaluable time and tireless effort.
