AMP Journey: 2007 – 2023 | 16-year Achievements

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) was formed in 2007, by a group of ambitious and visionary individuals who thought of making difference to the Muslim community through a unique forum which was non-sectarian and non-political. AMP is registered as a Section 8 Company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and it strives to empower not just the Muslim Community but all Citizens of India, irrespective of Caste or Religion, through its various activities of Education & Empowerment.

We have, Alhamdulillah, completed 16 years and along with a strong team of committed individuals – Members, Donors, Volunteers & Well-wishers - set many benchmarks along the way. The network of these individuals and institutions coming together to benefit the society, is the core strength of AMP’s Achievements.

2023 has been an exciting and fulfilling year. Over the past year, AMP has experienced remarkable growth and accomplishments. Our dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence have propelled us to new heights in 2023. We are thrilled to present our Achievement Report, which highlights the significant milestones we have achieved during the year. From reaching to more needy and underprivileged, to implementing innovative strategies, like in case of AMP National Talent Search (NTS) 2023 exam, our achievements showcase our ability to adapt, thrive, and deliver outstanding results.

AMP has accomplished many landmarks with its Flagship projects in last 16 years as follows:

I.          Employment Assistance Cell: 
EAC undertakes ongoing initiatives like Job Fairs & Job Drives across the Country to provide the youth with Career opportunities and empower them.

• Placed 43,600+ needy candidates in various Corporates
• Organized 84 Job Fairs & 549 Job Drives all over the Country
• Provided Vocational Skill training to more than 5,000+ Youths
• Organized 462 Employability Training Programs (ETP), benefitting 41,500+ final year College Students
• Accumulated a database of more than 1 Lakh+ Candidates (growing every day)
• Created a network in 220+ cities of India

II.          AMPowerJobs.com:
A Job Portal free for job seekers with comprehensive offerings including Skill Training and Employability Training Programs (ETP). In 3 years;

• 2,47,000+ - Vacancies Listed
• 1,06,480+ - Candidates registered
• 570+ - Corporates registered

III.       IndiaZakat.com:

IndiaZakat rose higher in its achievements in supporting the needy; it has been successful in developing itself as a unique Social Crowdfunding platform by successfully connecting the Zakat Seekers to the Zakat Givers. Not only that, 260+ bright Interns were given opportunity to work for IndiaZakat and earn valuable experience as well as Khair.

IV.          AMP Zakat Fund:
We have raised 7+ Crores through AMP Zakat Fund until 2023. Since AZF was launched in 2013, we have helped;

• 2,600+ Needy and deserving Students supported by funding their Higher Education
• 2,000+ Orphans supported for Basic Education
• 1,200+ Poor & unemployed Youth & few Maulanas supported with Self Employment Assistance

V.          Adopt an Orphan or Poor Child Education Assistance:
AMP USA & IndiaZakat.com jointly have started a project to support needy Orphans & Poor Children throughout India. The objective of this project is to provide them with the means to bear their Education & other basic expenses partially or fully through a sustained sponsorship from a dedicated donor.

• 250+ Orphans & Poor Children helped with Education assistance so far
• 700 Orphans & Poor Children altogether will be supported by end of current financial year

VI.          Ulema Support Program:
In 2023, AMP has launched a special cause on IndiaZakat to support Masjid Imams and augment their incomes so they too can take care of their family’s needs.

• 100 Maulanas are targeted to be supported in the current financial year
• Pilot project is underway in Bhopal M.P.

VII.          AMP National Talent Search Exam:
This is a National Level Talent Search, which is organized for High School, Junior & Senior/Degree College Students, with an objective to increase and reward the Students’ General Awareness and identify the brightest students to support and nurture.
In the year 2023, AMP tied up with more than 20 Training Partners all over India, who offered to give 100% discounts to the top 500 Students for Coaching in IIT-JEE/NEET and other competitive exams. 55,000+ Students registered for NTS 2023 from 10,000+ Schools & Colleges across the Country. 400+ Exam Centres were set up in 300+ Districts for offline/physical exam. Those Students who wanted to appear online, were supported through AMP World Mobile App.

• 2.25+ Lakhs is the overall NTS Student registrations since 2020

VIII.          AMP World Mobile App:
AMP will keep every Indian Student connected through AMP World App, so that they can all take advantage of AMP’s free programs until they finish their Studies. Further, the App also provides alerts on;

• Information related to Career Counselling & Guidance, Scholarship Guidance and other educational material by leading Educationists of India will be shared through the App
• Important information by leading Community Organizations will also be shared with all the students through the App.
• AMP World App will also act as a valuable resource for parents who are looking to encourage and support their children for a better future.
• Teachers will also benefit from all the educational resources shared on the AMP World App.
• 1,00,000+ Students have downloaded the App throughout India

IX.          Teachers’ Training Programs:
AMP organizes Teacher Training Programs, that aim to provide valuable insights to Teachers/Professors/Academicians to enhance their teaching methods for the benefit of their Students as well for their own Professional growth.

X.          School Development Programs:
School Development Program (SDP) is one of AMP's main Flagship Projects which has been the most impactful as well. Alhamdulillah! We have conducted innumerable SDP programs;

• 3.02+ Lakhs Students benefitted through online as well as offline School Development Lectures (SDLs).

• 33,000+ Schools & College students benefitted through Career Guidance Seminars Online & at 50+ different Cities in India.

XII.          AMP National Awards for Excellence in Education:
AMP confers its National Award for Excellence in Education every year on Teachers Day. We have so far has honored;

• 650+ Influential Educators (Heads of Institution, Madaris Teachers, Higher Education Teachers, Primary & Secondary School Teachers)
• 60 Educational Institutions and
• 16 Visionaries with Lifetime Achievement Awards

XIII.          AMP NGO Connect:
AMP through its NGO Connect project has collaborated with NGOs in many cities across the Country on various projects like National Talent Search (NTS) exam for School & College students, ACE Hybrid Learning Centres for IIT-JEE & NEET exams, Mega Job Fairs & Job Drives, Employability Training Programmes (ETP) etc.

• 6000+ NGOs connected all over India

XIV.          AMP National Awards for Social Excellence (NGO Awards):
AMP instituted these Awards in 2021 for appreciating the commendable work of several NGOs, Individuals & Changemakers and for their outstanding contribution to Nation Building. So far;

• 6,000+ NGOs have been connected with
• 550+ Organizations and
• 350+ Individual Change Makers have been honored from across the country.

XV.          AMP NGO Conference for North India:
AMP organised its first ever NGO Conference for North India in Lucknow this year. It was the first of its kind action-oriented meeting where prominent Community leaders, Government representatives, Social leaders, Thinkers, top Development sector professionals, Civil society activists & NGOs in huge numbers sat together and deliberated on Community Development and Nation Building agenda for the next 25 years as well for the immediate action plan.

• 600+ Delegates participated from all aspirational districts of North India
• 150+ North Indian districts represented at the conference
• 50+ Prominent speakers from across India addressed the Conference

XVI.          AMP Centres of Excellence:
AMP Centre of Excellence (ACE) is a coaching centre for preparing the brightest minds of class XI & XII Science students (Junior College/PUC) for some of the elite entrance exams of our country. These are based on a Hybrid Learning Model with Online as well Classroom training and highly subsidized to cater to the brilliant but financially weak students so that no meritorious students are left without an equal opportunity. The focus is currently on NEET & JEE Mains plus Advance.

• 60 ACE Centres have been setup across the Country so far.
• 1000+ Students have enrolled at these Centres

XVII.          AMP Institution Connect:
With a view to provide the benefits of our flagship programs to the Student Community across the Country, AMP has started the Institution Connect initiative. Under this, AMP connects with Colleges & Institutions of Higher Education in India and implements its programs in their Campus.
In 2023,

• 25 Institutes of Higher Education signed an MOU with AMP across India
• 2 Faculty Development Program (FDP) were organised online on NAAC organized in collaboration with AMU Centre, Malappuram, Kerala & Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan with registrations crossing 800+ from Educators
• 15 Eminent Educators from Higher Educational Institutions engaged as Member of Jury for NAEE 2023
• 19 Advisory Board Members on NTS2023 engaged from Higher Educational Institutions across India

XVIII.          Higher Education Roadmap:
The All-India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE: 20-21) has painted a very bleak picture and put Muslims in the lowest rung after even OBCs, SCs & STs. AMP decided to take the initiative of meeting Experts (Academicians, Teachers, Educationists, Policy Makers, Bureaucrats, Professionals) and discussing & brainstorming to prepare a 25-year Roadmap to tackle the above-mentioned challenging issue.

• Meetings were conducted at Delhi & Bhopal with experts & intelligentsia
• Further meetings to be held at 100 Minority-dominated Districts all over the Country

XIX.          AMP Internship Program:
The benefits of an Internship Program for the Students are well known. AMP has been helping College students with Summer Internship as well as internship for IndiaZakat.com. We’ve had many batches of interns working all round to bring the dreams of the less fortunate and needy to life, by donating their invaluable time and tireless effort.
