AMP Zakat Fund Volunteer – Role & Responsibility

We can all help to make a positive difference to poor & underprivileged members of our community. AZF has many opportunities for you to get involved with our work and reach out to those suffering in silence. You can help to eradicate poverty amongst Muslims living in the poorest corner of India and empower them to lead better and more dignified lives - all whilst earning the pleasure of Allah.

Why?

• Help alleviate poverty amongst Muslims in your City/Town/Village
• Revive a pillar of Islam
• Invest in your Hereafter
• Learn new skills and gain new experiences
• Meet new people (including other chAMPions)

How?

• Raising awareness about our work so more people know what we do and why we exist.
• Help us promote our campaigns and events in your local area. This could involve distributing fliers or speaking to local community & businesses on our behalf.
• You can give out leaflets in your local masjid (seek permission first) and afterwards arrange an announcement during Jumah Khutba and Collection for AZF
• Promotion on Social Media; ‘Like' our Facebook page and post a positive comment, follow us on Twitter and retweet our updates, Change your WhatsApp and social media icons to the AZF logo
• Manage your own team of local volunteers

Key skills and attributes:

• Conviction in Zakat as a tool for transformation.
• Should be able to communicate sensitively and compassionately.
• Sacrificing your time.
