AMP conducts it first GC meet of the newly elected GC members in Delhi.

AMP GC members met in Delhi in an extensive daylong meet to finalize its annual activities plan for the year 2016 on 12th December 2015.

The AMP GC which includes the President, General Secretary, Organizing Secretary & the Finance Secretary, is the highest council of AMP and its policy and decision making body. The participants also included specially few important members from the AMP Delhi and North India team who participated enthusiastically in the discussions.

Since there are members included in the GC from different part of the country, this meet also gave an opportunity for the GC members to get to know and interact with each other.

Various activities were discussed and goals and targets were set for the same. Important Projects such as SDLs, Resource Center, Zakat Fund, and Endowment fund, Membership Drive, etc were discussed in detail and ideas were exchanged as to how the current processes and activities could be bettered.

Important Decisions Taken:

•500 Schools all over India will be connected in SDL Program where SDL will be conducted every month

•Scholarship to 500 Students for Higher and Technical Education and financial assistance to 200 unemployed youth for Self Employment will be given in 2016

•We will Open 50 Training Centers in 50 Cities for Skill Development (Vocational Training) with help of local partners

•Open Online Counseling Cell to Guide Students in every field on email and phone

•Monthly one Employability Training Workshop will be organized in 25 different colleges across India.

•Monthly one Mock Interview Workshop will be organized in 25 different colleges across India.

•12 Job Fairs in 8 different cities will be organized in 2016

Further it was decided that each GC member would take ownership of at least one State of the country wherein they would be the guiding figures for the local teams as well as nurture them. The meeting ended on a very enthusiastic note with all GC members committing their full support and assistance for even better functioning of the organization.
