AMP wishes all Ramzaan Mubarak

Ramzaan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (sawm) to commemorate the first revelation of the Quranto our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The others being, Shahada, Salah, Zakat & Hajj (Islamic holy pilgrimage)

Muslims worldwide scan the skies for the sight of the new crescent moon known as Hilal, which marks the beginning of Ramzan month. The very next day fasting begins and is compulsory for all adult and healthy Muslims. Fasting begins with Suhoor (Pre-fast meals before dawn) and end with Iftar (post-fast breaking feasts after sunset)

In this holy month of Ramzaan let us donate our Zakat whole heartedly to make a difference in the lives of others.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (R.A.):

Allah's Apostle was the most generous of all the people and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramzaan- Sahih al Bukhari
