Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Nagpur Chapter organized a meeting on “Importance of Media and Journalism” on Wednesday, 18^th April 2018 at Sibtain International, Nagpur. The meeting was conducted & co-ordinated by Mr. Shakir Raza Khan who is also the Chapter Coordinator of AMP Team Nagpur.

1: To establish the communication between media person and community.

2: Current scenario of community to the country.

3: The journalist and media person’s role and responsibility to protect the community. 

4: The promotion of Journalism profession and education among Students.

Approx. 20 Journalist and members has attended this meeting and they are ready to work as a volunteer for students in schools or colleges, and willing to share their knowledge and experience to promote the career in media industry like as a Journalist, Photographer, Field Representative, Graphics Designer, Marketing Executive for space selling in print media and News Portals.

It was a healthy discussion about the security and communication establishment between community to media personalities through the various kind of activity or meetings and training workshops.

The session was wonderful and highly interactive, Nagpur chapter is also going to start a pilot project with journalist in schools or colleges through career making or career development lectures in coming academic year.
