AMP Career Counselling Lecture in Gulbarga on 9th April

Youth represent surplus potential energy & future of any family, community & country at large but we see many youth around us, who are under negativity, frustration, confusion & devoid of constructive & positive mind & energy. Many youth have adjustment problems / problem behaviour with family, friends & society. Many have wrong belief systems/many wrong learned habits & behaviours with wrong upbringings & failure to understand & manage emotions properly. Many youth may have Lack of interest/ concentration in studies may have many learning problems so do not perform well in schools/colleges, may develop depression/aggression, bad habits/addictions/misuse of internet & social medias & sometimes anti-social behaviour, leading to life of mediocrity or frustration & great loss!

If their issues were addressed properly at appropriate time & stage these youth with their fully explored potential, skills & productivity would have been a great asset for themselves, their families, community & country at large.

In many cases, the reasons for such a disaster are very subtle, inside our very own mind, our thinking, feelings & our attitude!

We fail to understand & manage our emotions! We fail to recognize our thinking patterns/conflicts! We fail to know our aptitude, our strengths & weaknesses! We fail to understand people around us & how to deal with them! We fail to develop proper skills to effectively study, concentrate, memorize, recall in our studies! We fail to manage stress, develop good managerial skills to perform well in our chosen field of work, in our occupation or profession.

Therefore, for all these issues, there is always a need for professional Psycho-social counselling which addresses all such issues in a very learned & professional way.

Counselling is a helping relationship where you can freely talk to a professional (counsellor) about your emotional, familial, social, educational, vocation & other personal subjective issues & find strategies to  deal with them efficiently & effectively to enhance your personal wisdom, skills & over all personal growth leading to successful, contended & happy life.

Therefore, for this purpose to address these issues of our youths of Gulbarga we have arranged an expert personal counselling programme with professional counsellors. It differs from routine personality development programmes in the sense that here other than basic self- improvement, personality development aspects, attempt will be made to address/treat many personal, psycho social issues which can be a hindrance/obstacle to learn self- improvement skills which leads to full growth & development of one’s personality.

Here you can talk to our counsellors on individual one to one basis freely, openly & express your feelings, your thoughts, your personal issues (without worrying about confidentiality, which will be taken care of) & seek professional solutions for the same.

This free Personal Counselling Programme is arranged by Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), Gulbarga Chapter. AMP is a community development organization which aims at educating, employing & empowering Muslim youth & community. Programme is supported & professional services given by Dr. Rizwan Ali, MS (Counselling & Psychotherapy) & his Dr. Rizwan’s Multispecialty Mental Health & Homeopathy Clinic, Gulbarga.
