AMP conducted Teachers Training Program at Mahim in Mumbai on 2^nd November 2018

AMP organized an interactive Teachers Training Workshop at R.C. Mahim D.Ed College at Mahim in Mumbai on Friday, 2^nd November 2018. It was a two-hour workshop from 11am to 1pm. The topic of the session was ‘How to Be an Effective Teacher’. 

The session started with the Principal Mr. Akhalque Ahmed Khan who gave a short introduction and welcomed the Speaker. After that, AMP Operations Manager Miss. Muzammil Banatwalla briefed the students of the D.Ed College of the various activities initiated by AMP and invited Mrs. Afrose Nauman Patel, the Speaker for the day to the dias.

Mrs. Afrose Patel who is a highly motivated and energetic Trainer by profession started by focusing on the Importance of Imagination in education and how every teacher should strive to bring something very unique to the class. She also enlightened the students on the important characteristics which make a teacher stand out from among the crowd. She   specifically emphasized on the fact that teachers should have a “Professional Face” when they come to work, keeping all their personal troubles at bay and greet the students with an ever smiling face. This indirectly transforms the overall behavior of students into a more Positive and Happy one. The wonderful experience of the participants cannot be justified in these words.

Mrs. Zubeida Khandwani who was the Chief Guest spoke to the students on the importance of Teachers in a student’s life. She also gave a very important message stating that a Teacher should be the one who is open to learning at any age and juncture in life.

There was an overwhelming response from the Students & Management, who found the session to be very beneficial for them. All the teachers and school management who participated in the workshop requested AMP team to conduct such workshops at regular intervals.
