Mr. Chunawala, the chief Sponsor of the Job Fair said “After the lockdown restrictions were eased in October, we came to know that there were a lot of our youths, who had lost their jobs. Our Jamat decided that we need to help the youths and thus through WMO, we approached AMP to organise a job fair for the youth so they could help their families and thus help the Nation get back on its track.

Mr. Gadawala, Co-sponsor of the event said “This is a great opportunity for the youth and I thank the Corporates for participating in the Job Fair, so the unemployed one’s benefit. We have taken utmost care of the Covid protocols, in this pandemic struck world. We will be conducting more such Job Fairs in the coming days in association with AMP to serve our unemployed youth across the country.

Mr. Aamir Edresy, President-AMP, said  “We seek to be the bridge between the Corporates, Government agencies and the Unemployed/Underemployed youth. We firmly believe in the ideology of Economic Empowerment through creation of job opportunities. We have been doing Job Fairs for needy since past 8 years and have placed 25,000+ candidates since then and thus helped their families. The Job Fair was organised with strict Covid protocol in place and the arrangements were thus made accordingly.”.

Mr. Shahid Haider, Head – AMP Employment Cell, said that “organising an offline Job Fair after one and half years was a big challenge as the Corporates and the candidates had switched online for their requirements. However, the offline Job Fairs have their own advantages as the Corporates get large no. of candidates at one go and it helps them get a good database to work on and select candidates. We are now planning to organise these offline job fairs in many cities including Hyderabad, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Hosur and Kolkata. These will be organised along with the State Govts., NGOs and even Corporates looking for large candidate fulfilment.”

The success of the Job Fair was a result of dedication and hard work of Halai Memon Jamat, WMO and AMP Team Members under the guidance of Mr. Razak Shaikh, Head of Projects-AMP, Mr. Shahid Haider, Head AMP Employment Cell, Mr. Soheb Selia, General Secretary-AMP, Mr. Javed Sayed, Finance Secretary-AMP, other AMP team members and the volunteers from each organisation. The Police personnel also supported the activity very well.
