Mega Job Fair organized in Pune on 5th Jan 2019

160+ Candidates got selected and 600+ Candidates were shortlisted in the Job Fair in Pune, Maharashtra, organised by AMP and M.C.E. Society

 

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized a Mega Job Fair in Pune on 5th Jan, 2019 in association with M.C.E. Society, which was a huge success. More than 60 Corporates and HR Consultants across various industries participated in this Job Fair with a turnout of more than 1100 Candidates. At the end of the day 160+ candidates were given on-the-spot offers by the recruiters while 600+ were shortlisted for the next round of selection.  

 

The Job Fair was conducted at Allana Institute of Management Sciences, Azam Campus, Pune, to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of caste, community and creed. Through this unique event, the organizers endeavoured to give back to the Nation what they have received by helping the youth get Jobs. Jobs Grow, a Recruitment & Training Consultancy and Dakkan Momin Jamat, a social welfare organisation provided significant support in organising the Job Fair.

 

Mrs. Abeda Inamdar, Vice-President – MCE Society, who inaugurated the Job Fair said “We have established this Campus, with the sole intention of propagating Education for all strata of the society and thus helping the youth become employable and fulfilling their family and the Society’s needs. We welcome the partnership with Association of Muslim Professionals in taking that vision further by organising this Job Fair and helping our youth get gainful employment and thus helping in Nation Building.”

Dr. R. Ganesan, Director, Allana Institute of Management Sciences said “AMP had approached us with the proposal of partnering for the organisation a Job Fair for unemployed youth of Pune. We took up this opportunity as it was in line with the vision of Allana Institute which wants to empower the youth for managing their lives in a better manner and this was the right platform. We hope this Job Fair will be the right platform for our youth to transform their lives for the better and contribute to India’s growth story”.

Mr. Iftekhar Shaikh, HeadAMP Employment Assistance Cell (EAC), who spoke at the Inaugural function said “AMP has for the past more than 10 years provided an ideal platform for Muslim Professionals to give back to the Society and Nation what we have received in terms of Education and Employment opportunities.  AMP has so far organized 27+ Mega Job Fairs and hundreds of Job Drives in the last 7 years and helped placing more than 15,000 candidates during these initiatives across more than 90 AMP Chapters all over the Country”

Mr. Razak Shaikh, Head - AMP Projects said “We try our best to give the right opportunities to the youth through entry and middle level jobs. Once you have provided the youngsters with relevant jobs, it doesn’t take too long for them to transform themselves, their families and thus the Society and the Nation. We aim to skill train 10000+ and place 5000+ Candidates through AMP Job Fairs & Job Drives in 2019”.

Mr. Majid Moulvi, President, Dakkan Momin Jamat - Pune, said “We have been associated with AMP for the last few years and have conducted many Job Drives, which are in fact like mini Job Fairs and have managed to place more than 200 Candidates. This Job Fair is a big-step forward as through these we can place more candidates at one go.”

 

The event was a result of dedication and hard work of AMP Pune Chapter Team Members especially Mr. Imtiyaz S. Shaikh and Miss Shagufta Inamdar. Prof. Atik Shaikh of Allana Institute of Management Sciences (AIMS) and his team worked tirelessly to ensure that all arrangements were in place before the Corporates and Candidates arrived. Valuable guidance and backend support was provided by Mr. Javed Sayed, Finance Secretary-AMP who also supported the team through designing and printing too. The AIMS & Jobs Grow team members supported the AMP Team in Corporate & Queue Management and the Police personnel managed the crowd admirably.
