Massive response of 15,000+ candidates for the 1st Mega Job Fair organised in Lucknow by AMP, Islamic Centre of India and Shaheen Academy!
 

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized a mega Job Fair in Lucknow on Fri, 4th Feb, 2022 in association with Islamic Centre of India and Shaheen Academy, which was a huge success. 

There was a massive response to the Job Fair as more than 15, 000+ candidates turned up, which was much more than expected. Candidates came from as far as Prayagraj (Allahabad), Kanpur, Barabanki, Hardoi and many other cities. Due to the limited resources available, many candidates were requested to submit their resumes online on AMP’s job portal www.ampowerjobs.com

50+ Corporates and Recruiters across various industries participated in this Job Fair with more than 10,000+ vacancies. At the end of the day 15,000+ Candidates attended the job fair, out of which 1000+ were selected and shortlisted. 

The Job Fair was conducted at Islamic Centre of India, Aishbagh Eidbagh, Lucknow to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of caste, community and creed. The Job Fair was organised considering the pandemic situation and following the #COVID protocol of the UP-State Govt.

Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali, President, Islamic Centre of India, Aisbagh Eidgah, Lucknow said “The main objective of this Job Fair was to help the unemployed youth and thus minimise rising unemployment and contribute to Nation Building well as progress amongst all sections of the Society.” 
He further said that it was a great pleasure and honour to be associated with AMP & Shaheen Academy which were national organisations doing great work all over the Country in their respective domains.

Mr. Aamir Edresy, President AMP said, “The main objective of AMP is to provide educational and employment support to needy and unemployed youth of the Country so they are empowered to contribute to their families and the society”

Mr. Shoeb Syed, retd. Govt. Engineer and Zonal Head of AMP said, “This is the 1st Job Fair that AMP has organized in Lucknow. AMP is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organisation working in the domains of Education, Employment & Empowerment. This job fair was made possible at a very small notice thanks to our association with Moulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali and Shaheen Academy, Lucknow.”

Mr. Razak Shaikh, Sr. Mutual Fund industry professional & Head of Projects, AMP said “We try our level best to give the right opportunities to the unemployed youth, through entry and middle level jobs. Once we provide the youngsters with relevant jobs, it doesn’t take too long to transform and empower them so they can contribute significantly to the Nation’s growth story.” 

Dr. Abdul Ahad, Resident Director, Shaheen Academy, Lucknow said that it was a great opportunity to have been associated with AMP & Islamic Centre of India. We have a long association with both these reputed entities and work on multiple projects all over the Country.

The event was backed by very strong support from Mr. Naieem Farangi Mahali Sahab and the entire team & volunteers from India Islami Centre, Shaheen Academy and Integral University who helped in Registration, Corporate & Queue Management and the Police personnel managed the crowd admirably.
