‘Association of Muslim Professionals’ along with the ‘Society for Students Upliftment’ organized an Employability Training Workshop in Maharashtra College (Nagpada, Mumbai) on Saturday, 18th February, 2017.
The workshop was conducted by renowned corporate trainer Mr. Mohammed Ali Naik, alumnus of Maharashtra College, and a seasoned corporate with almost 35 years of professional experience with Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. He is a Dale Carnegie certified trainer & has conducted various training workshops for Godrej & Boyce and MESCO - Muslim Educational & Sociocultural Organization.
The workshop that was conducted in order to equip the students with tips and guidelines related to preparing resumes, facing interviews, corporate dressing and grooming and business etiquettes, was attended by 51 final year degree students of science, arts and commerce discipline.
Mr. Naiks’ years of research, his in-depth understanding of employability training, his ability to present the subject in an interesting, lively manner, and his approach to engaging students by asking them questions and conducting mock interviews made sure that there was not a single minute of boredom in the auditorium. The students seemed very attentive and we hope that they will incorporate the valuable tips that he shared.
The Principal of Maharashtra College, Dr. Sirajuddin Chougle, was pleased and thanked the Speaker, AMP and Society for Students Upliftment for conducting this workshop. He is so impressed by the workshop that he invited AMP to conduct similar Workshops on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
