Association of Muslim Professionals in association with K-MECA successfully organized its first ever Mega Job Fair in Bidar, Karnataka on Sunday, 2nd April 2017.

Although the event was planned just a week before the scheduled date, we received a tremendous response in the form of about 1230 candidates from all Castes and Creeds that had come over not only from Bidar, but other surrounding areas too - like Gulbarga, Zaheerabad, Bellary and Humnabad. These were a mix of different kinds of profiles like Education, Technical, Non-Technical and Administration.

17 companies from Bidar, Hyderabad and Bangalore participated in the fair. Around 282 candidates were shortlisted for further rounds. 

The Job fair also coincided with Sessions of Employability Training that were conducted by a trainer and Mentor from Team AMP. This session covered Resume Writing Skills, Confidence Building tips and addressed the issue of common mistakes that are committed during interviews. The Trainer also clarified their doubts.

Mr. Syed Nashit, Senior AMP Team Member said, "The AMP Bidar fair was a grand success because of tireless efforts of our associates - K-MECA and other local organizations like Helping Hands". AMP Volunteers from Bidar and nearby cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad were also present at Bidar to manage the entire Event.

Mr. Suhel Ahmed from K-MECA thanked AMP and other supporters and requested to organize such events in interior places of Karnataka.
