AMP launches its nationwide SDL National Campaign on the eve of Republic Day, 2017.

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) gave an eventful start in Mumbai to its National Campaign on the eve of Republic Day, 26th of January 2017.

The National Campaign will be organized all over the country and AMP plans to conduct lectures in more than 300 schools across the country. AMP has chosen the theme as our Constitution for this year and will be conducting Guidance Lectures on the topic "Dastoor e Hind... Hamare Huqooq... Hamari Zimmedariyan translated as "Our Indian Constitution, Our Rights and Responsibilities ", across India.

This Republic Day Campaign will be held between 26th January and 04 February 2017 both days inclusive and will be a part of AMP's SDL (Skills Development Lectures) series.

The Campaign was launched in Mumbai by AMP General Secretary, Mr. Syed Najeeb-Ur-Rahman, at Anjuman Khairul Islam High School, Madanpura, Byculla, Mumbai, where he gave the inaugural lecture on the topic to more than 100 enthusiastic students.

The lecture was well-received by the students and the school staff alike, giving them an idea as to what our Constitution is, its significance and what it stands for its citizens. Mr. Najeeb also made them aware of their rights and responsibilities and enthused in them how our evolution as a responsible citizen of our country can take it to even greater heights.

The school authorities and staff were so impressed by the activity that they have requested AMP to conduct its SDL series year round which will be included and scheduled in the school’s extracurricular activities calendar, with the staff assuring their wholehearted support.

Ms. Rabia Qureshi, Principal In-charge of Anjuman Khairul Islam High School said, "It is heartening to see a team of young professionals working dedicatedly for such a noble cause. Such projects have a potential of becoming a life-changer for many in the long run and such Skills Development Lectures are required for the proper guidance of students. I salute AMPs efforts in this front and their National Spirit as well. Probably AMP seems to be the only organization to work dedicatedly for creating such a positive social impact across the nation".

The Republic Day Campaign is a part of the National Campaign Series which AMP has been consistently organizing across the country since past few years. The other lectures under this Campaign are organized on Independence Day on 15th August and Education Day on 11th November, with the objective of motivating young minds and encouraging them towards Nation building.
