More than 450 Candidates selected & shortlisted at AMP Mega Job Fair in Nanded, Maharashtra!
Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in association with World Memon Organisation (WMO) and Memon Community Trust, Nanded (MCTN), organized a mega Job Fair in ITM College, Nanded, Maharashtra on Saturday, 11th January 2025, which was a huge success.
There was a great response to the Job fair as approx. 1000 Candidates were interviewed, out of which 450+ were selected and shortlisted for further rounds. 33 Corporates and Recruiters from across various industries participated in this Job Fair with more than 5,000+ vacancies available for jobless youths in Engineering, Telecom, Hospitality, BPO, Logistics and other entry level & experienced positions.
The Job fair was conducted to help unemployed youths get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of Caste, Community and Creed.
Shri D. P. Sawant, former MLA & Minister for Higher and Technical education, from Nanded was the Chief Guest at the inaugural function. Mr. Haseen Aghadi, former President – WMO and Ms. Daljit Kaur, Sr. Civil Judge at Nanded were the Guests of Honor.
Mr. Sawant while inaugurating the event said he was quite pleased to see the arrangements at the Job Fair venue and commended efforts of AMP & WMO for providing job opportunities to the youth. He said "This Job Fair is doing a great service to humanity by providing much needed job opportunities to the needy youth of Nanded & surrounding towns and villages."
Ms. Daljit Kaur, said “When Memon Community Trust, Nanded (MCTN) approached me to visit the job fair and motivate the jobless youth, I was not quite sure about how it will turn out. However, I now see that this is an excellent way to help the unemployed youth and at the same time improve communal harmony.”
Mr. Haseen Aghadi, was quite happy that the efforts of his teams bore fruit well. He said “Our local teams decided that we should hold a Job Fair in Nanded, like previously done by AMP, so that many jobless youths are benefitted. WMO & MCTN teams took up the challenge satisfactorily and successfully organised the Job Fair with AMP’s support.”
Mr. Shahid Haider, Head - AMP Employment Assistance Cell (EAC) said “AMP has been organising Job Fairs all over the Country and has done close to 100 Job Fairs and helped more than 50,000+ needy youths with Jobs, thus helping in Nation building.” He further added that one of the objectives of AMP Employment Cell is to provide Job opportunities to youth and help in making them self-sufficient and thus help in Nation-building.
The event was backed by very strong support from some of local teams of WMO & MCTN. AMP Team Members and ITM College staff & their entire team of volunteers helped in Registration, Screening, Corporates & Queue Management.
