265 Candidates Selected & Shortlisted out of 750+ who attended AMP mega job Fair in Delhi!

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organised a highly successful Job Fair in collaboration with Jamia Senior Secondary School, part of Jamia Millia Islamia, along with the Al Khidmah Foundation on Saturday, 23rd December 2023. The Job Fair unfolded at the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia Ground in Okhla, New Delhi, with the noble aim of facilitating job seekers' placements in esteemed mainstream corporates. Importantly, it sought to provide opportunities to those in need, emphasizing a commitment to inclusivity by avoiding discrimination based on caste, community, or creed.

The response to the Job Fair was overwhelming, with 750+ candidates enthusiastically participating. By the day's conclusion, an impressive count of 265 candidates were selected and shortlisted. The event saw active participation from over 20 corporates and recruiters representing diverse industries, collectively offering a remarkable 5,900+ job vacancies.

Mr. Shahid Haider, Head of the Employment Assistance Cell (EAC), expressed his satisfaction, stating, “Collaborating with Al Khidmah Foundation for our inaugural job fair was a fantastic opportunity. Witnessing the vibrant turnout from the Delhi crowd on such short notice has fuelled our eagerness to join forces for multiple job fairs in the future.”

Dr. Mohd Arshad Khan, Principal, Jamia Senior Secondary School commented, “We are extremely pleased that the mega job fair was well-organized, with no disruptions, thanks to the efforts of the Association of Muslim Professionals' members and volunteers.”

Mr. Imtiyaz Ahmad, PGT Lecturer, said, “The event was a successful experience for me as the assistant coordinator. I express gratitude to Principal Dr. Muhammad Arshad Khan for entrusting me with this responsibility. Thanks to all members and organizers for contributing to the fair's success.”

The event's success was thanks to strong support from the Jamia Millia Islamia School, Al Khidmah Foundation, and their dedicated volunteers. They played vital roles in registration, screening, corporate and queue management. Special appreciation goes to Jamia Senior Secondary School staff for their wholehearted support, ensuring seamless venue preparation and maintaining order during the event.
