390 Got Spot Job Offer And 680 were Shortlisted

1590 Candidates attended the mega Job Fair in Bangalore organised by AMP, out of which 390+ got spot offers and 680+ Candidates were shortlisted for next round of Interviews.

 

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized a Mega Job Fair in Bangalore on Sat, 30th Nov, 2019 in association with Nexus Info, Hasanath College, United Vision Foundation and Meritude Skills Development, which was a huge success.

 

The Job Fair was conducted at Hasanath College, Hennur Bande, Bangalore, to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of caste, community and creed. Through this unique event, the organizers endeavoured to give back to the Nation what they have received by helping the youth get Jobs. Tehzeeb TV provided significant support in promoting the Job Fair.

More than 70 Corporates and HR Consultants across various industries participated in this Job Fair with a turnout of more than 1590 Candidates. At the end of the day 390+ candidates were given on-the-spot offers by the recruiters while 680+ were shortlisted for next round of Interviews.  

 

Mr. Mohammed Sanaullah, Retd. IAS Officer and Ex-Principal Secretary, Govt. of Karnataka, who inaugurated the Job Fair said “Having worked in the Govt. in different capacities and specially Minorities Welfare Dept., it was our intention to propagate Education and Employment Assistance for the under-privileged strata of the society so that the youth can fulfil their family and the Society’s needs. I’m happy to note that Association of Muslim Professionals is taking that vision further by organising Job Fairs and helping our youth get gainful employment and thus helping in Nation Building.”

Mr. Mohammed Mohsin, IAS Officer & Secretary of Backward Classes, Govt. of Karnataka, said “I was delighted to know when the organisers got in touch with me that there is such an Organisation working to help youth get jobs and find livelihood in these bleak times. I hope this Job Fair will be the right platform for the jobless youth to transform their lives for the better and contribute to India’s growth story”.

Mr. Ramesh Gowda, MLC, Karnataka Assembly who was present on the occasion, applauded AMP’s efforts and said “It’s very heartening to note AMP which is made of Professionals has such great vision in rendering this service to the society and the nation. I see youngsters not only from the Muslim Community but from all caste and creeds attending the job fair. This spirit augurs well for the communal harmony of our great Country.”

Mr. Aamir Edresy, President, Association of Muslim Professionals, who specially came to Bangalore for this mega job fair addressed the gathering of youth looking for jobs and said “Employment in the Country is on a 50-year low and youngsters and families are suffering all over the Country. Under such scenario we try and get these events organised in different parts of the Country so the youth can benefit. We also Skill Train youngsters so they become job ready and are able to get meaningful jobs. I appeal to those who get jobs that they should also try and help those who do not have one so we are able to help in removing joblessness’’.

Mr. Younus Sait, President, Hasanath Group of Institutions, said “When the Bangalore AMP Team approached us to conduct the Job Fair in our Institute at Hennur Bande, we immediately gave our approval for the Nobel cause. It will be our endeavour to always help such professionals and bodies to take their good work forward”.

Mr. Razak Shaikh, Head - AMP Projects who addressed the youngsters and gave them a brief about the Job Fair process, said “AMP has for the past more than 10 years provided an ideal platform for Professionals to give back to the Society and Nation what we have received in terms of Education and Employment opportunities. AMP has so far organized 40 Mega Job Fairs helped placing more than 20,000 across varies cities in the Country.”

Mrs. Zahida Khan, Ex-Director, Karnataka State Warehousing Corporation & AMP Karnataka State Head and the major force behind the Job Fair gave a brief introduction of AMP activities to the audience. Mr. Nazir Ahmed, CEO, Nexus Info, was another force behind the job fair. He welcomed the guests and the audience and mentioned how one of the previous sponsor backed out and they had to work afresh from scratch. Mr. Imtiaz Khan, AMP Bangalore Chapter Head, hosted the event and connected with all the corporates present at the job fair. They all wished the Candidates present all the very best for getting jobs of their choice.

Mr. Iftekhar Bidkar, Head – AMP Employment Assistance Cell (EAC) said “We try our best to give the right opportunities to the youth through entry and middle level jobs. Once you have provided the youngsters with relevant jobs, it doesn’t take too long for them to transform themselves, their families and thus the Society and the Nation.”

 

Other guests present on the occasion included Mr. Hamid Sait, Chairman, Hasanath Group of Institutions, Mr. Munawar Sb., Secretary Hasanath Group, Mr. S. Anees Siraj, Retd. KAS Officer and Ex-Secretary, & CEO, Karnataka State Minorities Commission. The event was a result of dedication and hard work of AMP Bangalore Chapter Team Members & Volunteers. Mr. Asgar Ahmed of United Vision Foundation and his team of Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that all arrangements were in place. Valuable guidance and backend support was provided by Mr. Soheb Selia, Gen. Secretary & Mr. Javed Sayed, Finance Secretary-AMP who also supported the team through designing and printing too.
