More than 2,200+ candidates attend the Mega Job Fair organised in Ahmedabad by AMP,
Issa Foundation and Iqra Foundation!

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized a mega Job Fair in Ahmedabad on Saturday, 26th March, 2022 in association with Issa Foundation and Iqra Foundation, which was a huge success. 

There was a massive response to the Job Fair as more than 2,260 candidates turned up, which was much more than expected. 60+ Corporates and Recruiters across various industries participated in this Job Fair with more than 10,000+ vacancies. At the end of the day 344 Candidates were selected and more than 1160 were shortlisted. 

The Job Fair was conducted at Gandhi Hall, Sarkhej-Juhapura Road, Ahmedabad to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of caste, community and creed. 

Mr. Aamir Edresy, President AMP said “The main objective of AMP is to provide educational and employment support to needy and unemployed youth of the Country so they are empowered to contribute to their families and the society”

Maulana Habib Ahmed, President, Education India Public Trust, Ahmedabad and Core-member, Issa Foundation said “We appreciate our partnership with Association of  Muslim professionals for this Job Fair. We also share similar values of helping the underprivileged people with education and training who can thus contribute to Nation Building.

Mr. Abdul Razak, Head of Projects, AMP and V.P. in a Mutual Fund Organisation said “Association of Muslim Professionals believes that transformation can be brought in the society through educational and jobs assistance. We have done more than 50+ Job Fairs all over the Country to empower the youth, so they can contribute significantly to the Nation’s growth story.” 

Mr. Jabir Choksi, Sr. Civil Engineer and Western Zonal Head of AMP enumerated all the various projects done by AMP in the last 15 years. Besides Job Fairs, he spoke about Higher Education Scholarships, School Devlopment Programs (SDP), Employability Training Programs (ETP), IndiaZakat.com, Ampowerjobs.com, TheIndiaMentors.com and others. He further added that AMP believes in partnerships & collaborations and have tied up with 2000+ NGO’s all over the Country.

Mr. Imtiyazuddin Shaikh, Sr. Member of AMP Ahmedabad Chapter & Iqra Foundation said “At the AMP National Executive Meet in Lucknow this month, it was said that we have to do atleast 50 job fairs this year due to the large scale unemployment among the youth. I decided to take up the challenge and within 3 weeks organised this successful job fair for helping the youth get jobs and thus contribute in Nation Building”

The event was backed by very strong support from Issa Foundation &  Iqra Foundation and their entire team of volunteers who helped in Registration, Screening, Corporate & Queue Management and the Police personnel managed the crowd and traffic admirably.
