Ramzan has got over and we had to celebrate Eid solemnly due to the #COVID-19 lockdown in almost all parts of the world. Closer home, in India, due to the lockdown, many people and their families have suffered immense hardships. Many of us lost our jobs and livelihoods because of Lockdown in order to contain the fallout of the Pandemic.

However, this immense tragedy brought out the best from many of us who could contribute in some way or the other for the betterment of our fellow human beings. AMP rose to the occasion by launching IndiaZakat.com, a digital crowd funding platform for Zakat Donors and Zakat Seekers. IZC has already raised more than 5 Million Rupees so far within a short span of 4 weeks.

On this platform AMP launched its #Feed5000Families, through which we sought to help those who were badly affected by the lockdown and could not afford two square meals a day. Alhamdulillah, our well-wishers and donors got out of the way to contribute to this magnificent effort and we have already distributed 3000+ Ration kits amounting to Rs. 30 lakhs in 90+ cities so far.

I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude for all those who have contributed towards the AMP Zakat Fund (AZF). We, at AMP would like to appreciate your deep concern for the welfare of our Muslim brethren which is evident from the support you have extended to this noble cause. We appreciate your empathy towards our cause and your acknowledgement of our humble efforts to bring about a revolutionary change in the community towards the betterment of the society.
