Major Activities:
As it was the month of Ramadan, of Fasting & Ibadah, AMPians all across had taken a small break from our regular activities.
Following are the few activities conducted by AMP across India in June 2017:
1. AMP Mumbai Chapter organized a meeting of Career Counselling Cell (CCC) on 10th June 2017 at Mumbai Central Head Office. 10 Members of the CCC group from Mumbai attended the meeting. The meeting was addressed by Mr. Aamir Edresy, President of AMP

2. AMP Mira Road Chapter organised IIT/Medical/Engg./Defence Career counselling session for students and parents on 17th June 2017 at St Harris School, Mira Road, Mumbai. The presentation on IIT/Medical/Engg. was given by Mr. Piyush Singh from Aromatic classes whereas Prin. Khalid Khan of St. Harris School spoke about careers in the Armed Forces.

3. AMP Mumbai Chapter in collaboration with Student Alliance presented Career Counselling and Guidance by experts in Kurla, Mumbai from 17th June to 17th July 2017. Professional Coaching would be provided for Students from 9th & 10th Grades, Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy.

4. AMP Career Chart was distributed to 25 schools across the country.

5. AMP under its Summer Internship Program (SIP) delegated live projects to 20 Graduate and Post-Graduate Students, which will enhance their soft skills and help in their personality development.

6. AMP Zakat Fund Campaign for 2017 was a big success as we managed to get 530 Donors to contribute in 2017 as compared to 368 Donors in 2016. Many Chapters across the country actively participated in this campaign by contacting Donors individually and thru Iftaar gatherings;
- An Iftaar gathering was held in IIT Powai, Mumbai, which was attended by Mr. Aamir Edresy, President, Mr. Razak Shaikh, Head, Employment Cell and Mr. Mohammed Feroz Shaikh from AMP admin team.
- An Iftaar gathering was held in IISc., Bengaluru, which was organized on the initiative of Mr. Syed Nashid, AMP Board Member.
- The AMP Bengaluru Chapter and AMP Lucknow Chapter too organized Iftaar gatherings to motivate the team members to actively participate in AMP Zakat Fund.

7. AMP Online Career Counselling Cell has garnered 233 expert counsellors till now. As the results are out, students from all over the country have been calling up the counselors to seek advice on various career options and benefiting immensely.
Tentative Plans for the month of July, 2017
As the month of Ramadan is now over, we will be back on track inshaAllah with all our activities including SDL Lectures, Job Drives, Job Fairs, ETPs, Mock Interview Workshops and others.
We will be observing the following activities:
1. SDL lectures are planned across at least 50 Schools in Mumbai & Suburbs and another 50 Schools across the Country.
2. Job Drives have been planned in 6 areas in Mumbai & Suburbs and another 6 Job Drives across the Country.
3. One Job Fair each is being planned in Mumbai and Aurangabad.
4. Employability Training Programmes & Mock Interview Workshops are being planned in 5 colleges of Mumbai and 10 across other Chapters.
5. Since SSC & HSC results have been declared, the Career Counselling Cell will be active providing students with appropriate guidance and help.
6. AMP Higher Scholarship & Self Employment funding will be launched and
promoted this month.
