AMP concludes Study Skills in Schools across India

As it was exams time all over India, Association of Muslim Professionals had organized SDL on Study Skills from 17^th Feb to 20^th March 2017. We covered 126 schools wherein each lecture had a batch size of 60 – 70 students. Through these sessions, we reached out to over 9,000 students.

We covered several cities across India namely Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, few cities in Gujarat, Jaipur, Hubli, Bangalore, Bhopal, Imphal, Vaniyambadi, Aurangabad, Bhadravati, Aligarh, Nasik, Bidar, Belgam and others.

Students & School staff found these lectures very motivating and very effective. The speakers who took part in this program were also very excited & enthusiastic to deliver the lectures. They found this opportunity very empowering to connect closely to the students.

We got an overwhelming  response from one of the schools named Al - Mu'minah School in Mumbai. The SDL was conducted by Mrs. Sakina Basta who is a very enthusiastic AMP volunteer. Dr. Shenaz Shaikh the Principal of the School stated that the entire lecture was very informative and interesting. The students listened to the speaker with rapt attention. She further mentioned in her feedback that the coverage of the lecture included the following points:

1. Importance of education
2. Why education is important especially for girls to deal with different life situations
3. How to prepare for the examination with right planning
4. Importance of diet
5. Dealing with examination stress
6. Taking up a right career

With the changing times, such initiatives by AMP help students to move ahead with confidence and achieve their goals in life
