AMP Qatar Chapter hosted Iftar Get Together

AMP Qatar Chapter celebrated the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, by hosting an Iftar Get Together

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Qatar Chapter celebrated the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, by hosting an Iftar Get Together at New Mazza Restaurant, Doha on Sat, 26th May’2018 for AMP members and patrons. Around 50 professionals participated in the gathering.

Mr. Waseem Kazi, Senior Core Committee member and General Secretary of AMP Qatar, initiated the event by welcoming the guests.

Mr. Noor Ahmed Sanadi, Chapter Head - AMP Qatar, made a brief introductory presentation on AMP, for the benefit of non-members. He also presented the details of the flagship projects of AMP, with emphasis on AMP Zakat Fund and stressed upon how AZF is being objectively utilized to bring about changes in the lives of underprivileged.

Senior professionals and longtime Qatar residents Dr. Syed Nazmi Ali, Director of College of Islamic Studies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Mr. Maqbool Ahmed, Head of Quality & Certification, Qatar University, Mr. Basit Baig, Sr. Project Manager – KBR and many other professionals from different streams were present on the occasion. Post presentation, the audience actively engaged in a live interaction with respect to the activities of AMP and how to get involved with the projects.

Dr. Nazim Ali, in a short speech appreciated the efforts of AMP in educational empowerment of the community and encouraged the young professionals to be thoughtful about best utilization of their strengths for the society at large.

Mr. Noor Ahmed Sanadi, concluded the program with vote of thanks, which was followed by dinner.

AMP core team members, Mr. Anwar Desurkar, Mr. Waseem Kazi, Mr. Asif Dadwad, Mr. Imran Hussein, Mr. Badruddin Shaikh and Mr. Mohammed Fahim worked behind the scenes to make the event successful.
