AMP Kurla Chapter organised a Job Drive on 18^th March, 2017

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Kurla Chapter had organized a Job Drive in Kurla, Mumbai on 18^th March 2017. This program was organized in association with Student Alliance, Yuva Samajik Seva Sanstha, Kadri Constructions and the Local Corporator – Mr. Kaptan Malik . 4 companies, namely  Integrity solutions, Unione Group, IKYA Global and Athena BPO  participated in the event to offer employment to candidates in various roles.

A total of 58 candidates turned up consisting of a mix of both the genders, freshers and experienced, post graduates, graduates and even undergraduates, looking out for different profiles. More than 18 candidates were successful in getting shortlisted and about 9 got selected.

Mrs. Asma Fakih and Mr. Arbaaz Kadri, AMP Members coordinated for the event, and interacted with the HR personnel to ensure that they did not have any issues, and made sure that the event went on smoothly. The AMP staff registered the candidates, and after the screening of candidates’ resumes and a quick talk regarding their profile & areas of interest, advised and guided them towards the suitable Corporates. The Local Corporator – Mr. Kaptan Malik, and Mr. Mehboob Patel (who is associated with Yuva Samajik Seva Sanstha), also attended the event to oversee the proceedings. Mr. Malik showed interest in organizing a Job Fair in Kurla, in association with AMP. Mr. Patel on the other hand, suggested AMP to organize a Job Drive specially for teachers.

While some worked tirelessly from behind the scenes, there were an even greater number of those who extended their best wishes, thereby boosting the morale of the team.
