During September 2017, the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) executed impactful nationwide initiatives across employment, education, and community empowerment. Key milestones included multi-city Job Drives across 6 locations serving 409 candidates, the landmark AMP National Awards for Excellence in Education recognizing 80 teachers, Higher Education Scholarships distribution to 31 students, Skill Development Lectures across 72 schools reaching 4,600 students, and the Senior Professionals Economic Development Roadmap meeting.

AMP reaches students in the remotest areas across the country through Skill Development Lectures (SDL). As one of AMP's premier flagship projects, SDL provides wholesome guidance towards career planning and self-development. In September 2017, we covered 72 schools all across India, benefitting approximately 4,600 students.

Dr. Kaifee Zahiruddin, a general physician from the Mumbra Chapter in Mumbai, was honoured as SDL Star of the Month for September 2017. Associated with AMP as a passionate volunteer for over 5 years, her proactive commitment has helped her conduct more than 200 Skill Development Lectures to date.

On the eve of Teachers' Day (5th September 2017), AMP's Board decided to felicitate 80 exceptional educators across India in recognition of their outstanding service to society. The Mumbai felicitation ceremony on 19th September honoured 21 senior academicians from Mumbai and adjoining suburbs at Maharashtra College, Mumbai Central.

On Saturday, 30th September 2017, AMP distributed Higher Education Scholarships to 31 deserving students from Mumbai and suburban areas. Grants ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 were awarded across key professional disciplines, including 22 Engineering students, 5 Medicine students, 2 IT students, and 2 Architecture students.
