The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) is a place where professionals and volunteers put their time, skills, and experience to work — so families facing gaps in education, work, or livelihood are not left to figure it out alone.
We believe one person helping another can change a life. When thousands do it together, it changes a community. That is the idea AMP has followed since Mumbai, 2007.
Today we have chapters in 200+ cities across India and volunteers in 20+ countries. Platforms like IndiaZakat.com and AMPowerJobs.com help us move scholarships, Zakat, and job opportunities to people who need them — clearly, and without fuss.

Moments that shaped AMP
2007
Where it began
A handful of professionals in Mumbai decided that knowledge alone was not enough — it had to reach people who needed it.
2010
School Development Lectures
We started SDL sessions in schools so students could get honest career guidance and a little encouragement beyond textbooks.
2013
Section 8 Registration
AMP India was registered as a non-profit company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
2017
100+ Chapters
What started as a few cities grew into a national volunteer network, running local job drives and programmes on the ground.
2020
IndiaZakat goes live
We launched India's first fee-free, transparent Zakat crowdfunding platform so help could move faster — and with trust.

25-Year Roadmap
We set down a long-term plan for education and employment — not just for the next year, but for the next generation.
