National Talent Search 2026
Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has been actively working since 2007 in the areas of Education, Employment Assistance, and Economic Empowerment for the Community and the Nation. With the aim of enhancing students' general awareness and fostering a spirit of healthy competition, AMP launched a nationwide competition National Talent Search in November 2020.
The 7th Edition of the AMP National Talent Search 2026, one of the largest talent search competitions in India, is scheduled for Saturday, 05 December 2026. This nationwide competition will be conducted in Offline/Physical mode and is open to students from all education boards, universities, and Madarsa systems across India.
The competition will be conducted in the following three categories:

National Talent Search 2026
EXAM MODE
- The AMP National Talent Search 2026 will be conducted only in Offline/Physical Mode.
- The exam will have a duration of 90 minutes
- The question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The exam will be conducted at 1500+ Exam Centres across 400+ districts in India.
- During registration, candidates can select their preferred Exam Centre.
- Exams for all categories will be held on the same day.

Syllabus for AMP National Talent Search
The National Talent Search 2026 question papers are designed by a team of eminent academicians from prestigious universities and institutes across India.
For School
For School Students (Classes 8th, 9th & 10th), the exam pattern is similar to NTSE (by NCERT) and is divided into two main parts:
- MAT (Mental Ability Test) – Tests reasoning and problem-solving skills
- SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) – Tests subject knowledge
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- There will be a separate question paper for each class: 8th, 9th, and 10th.
- The MAT section will be common for all classes.
- The SAT section will vary depending on the class.
Eligibility Criteria for National Talent Search
- Students currently enrolled in classes 8th, 9th, or 10th at schools or madrasas (age alignment - 13 years with class 8th, 14 years with class 9th, and 15 years with class 10th).
- Students enrolled in junior (11th & 12th) or degree college during the academic year 2026–2027.
- Diploma and ITI students aged 15–17 qualify under the junior college category; those aged 17–21 qualify under the senior college category.
- NIOS students take the school-level exam for secondary (class 10th) and the junior college-level exam for senior secondary.
- Only Indian citizens studying in India are eligible.
- All age criteria are based on cutoff date of October 2, 2026.
NOTE: Winning students must provide valid identity and eligibility documents.
For Colleges

The National Talent Search for College Students is designed on the lines of major national and international aptitude-based examinations. It focuses on analytical skills, logical reasoning, language proficiency, and general awareness to prepare students for higher academic and career opportunities.

Exam Centre Registration Process
Register your institution as an Exam Centre for your Block/Taluka and contribute to providing students with access to the AMP National Talent Search (NTS) examination.
How to Register

Visit www.ampworld.in and select “Exam Centre Registration.”

Complete the Registration Form.
Follow the instructions and provide the required institution and Exam Centre details.

Nominate SPOC & Observer
The Exam Centre should nominate:
- Single Point of Contact (SPOC) – to coordinate and communicate with the AMP NTS Team.
- Observer – to oversee the examination process at the Exam Centre.

Review the details carefully and submit the registration form. Further guidelines and communication will be shared with the registered Exam Centre.
