AMPs successful Job Fair in Mumbai on 13 May 2017

On May 13, 2017, the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) collaborated with Saarth Prathisthan to host a successful Job Fair in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The event featured participation from 41 corporates, including well-known companies like Reliance Retail, L&T Finance, and McDonald's. Approximately 2,000 candidates registered, showcasing AMP's extensive network and promotional efforts. Notably, around 200 students were shortlisted for various positions, with 15 candidates with hearing and speaking disabilities securing jobs with leading retail firms. The Job Fair was inaugurated by MLA Mr. Sunil Shinde, alongside other dignitaries, including ex-Mayor Ms. Snehal Ambekar and Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Anil Desai, who served as the Chief Guest. This event highlighted AMP's commitment to enhancing employment opportunities within the community.
Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) teamed up with another social organization Saarth Prathisthan to organize another eventful Job Fair at Lower Parel, Mumbai on 13th May, 2017.
The local Shiv Sena Unit through its Social Welfare organization ‘Saarth Prathisthan’ had reached out to AMP bearing in mind its expertise in holding Mega Job Fairs successfully since last few years. Considering the benefit this would accrue to the society AMP whole-heartedly supported the organization in organizing the entire event. 41 Corporates from across various industries had participated in this Job Fair. Some big names like Reliance Retail, L & T Finance, Mc Donalds, Richfeel, Amnesty International, Trent Hypermarket, Lenskart etc were part of our Job Fair. About 2000 candidates had registered for this Job Fair, and this was possible only due to AMPs strong interconnected network and rigorous promotions. About 200 students were shortlisted by various companies. The highlight of the day was that 15 candidates with hearing and speaking disabilities were selected by 2 of Indias finest Retail Giants.
The Job Fair was inaugurated by serving MLA Mr. Sunil Shinde assisted by other guests, namely ex-Mayor and current Corporator Ms. Snehal Ambekar & Corporator Ms. Kishori Pednekar, Mr. Ashish Chemburkar Chairman Standing Committee of G-South Ward and Shiv Sena Vibhag Pramukh, and Shakha Pramukh Mr. Deepak Bagwe and Mr. Nitin Shirodkar – Youth Leader Yuva Sena. The Chief Guest of the event was Shiv Sena Secetary and Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Anil Desai.
