AMP launched the 7th Edition of it’s National Talent Search and felicitated it’s National Awardees 2026 in Ranchi, Jharkhand

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) launched the 7th edition of its National Talent Search (AMP-NTS 2026) at a grand programme held at Haj House, Ranchi, on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event brought together eminent dignitaries, educationists, professionals, social and community leaders, NGOs and institutional representatives from across the country.

The programme was graced by Shri Imran Masood, Member of Parliament, Saharanpur; Shri Hafizul Hassan, Minority Welfare Minister, Jharkhand; Shri Abu Bakr Siddique (IAS); and Shri Syed Saud Akhtar, Controller of Examinations, Jamia Hamdard, Dr. Azam Baig, Founder Director of JLN Educational Group Rajasthan among others.

Speaking at the launch, Shri Imran Masood, Member of Parliament, said that talent exists across the country and students need the right platform and guidance to realise their potential. He emphasised that Education in all forms remains the most important requirement for Progress & Development and appreciated AMP’s contribution in the same. He further added that he is ready to support AMP in all its endeavours for nation-building activities.

Shri Hafizul Hassan, Minority Welfare Minister, Jharkhand, appreciated AMP's initiative and stressed the importance of collective efforts by professionals, educators, institutions and community organisations to create meaningful opportunities for young people. He also said that he will support AMP in Jharkhand for the educational upliftment of the Community

Shri Abu Bakar Siddique, IAS, Jharkhand emphasised the importance of education in empowering the younger generation. He said initiatives such as NTS can encourage students to pursue quality education and prepare themselves for competitive examinations and wider opportunities.

Mr. Aamir Edresy, President- AMP, said that through NTS, AMP wants to reach students across India, create awareness about competitive examinations and give them the confidence and guidance to dream bigger. He added that the target of reaching students across 400-plus districts and 1,500-plus blocks would require the collective efforts of AMP's Chapters, professionals, educational institutions and volunteers.

Mr. Farooq Siddiqui, Head – AMP National Coordination Team, who hosted the programme gracefully, said the organisation's priority was to take NTS to the grassroots. He said the extensive AMP network of Chapters, volunteers, educators, institutions and professionals would play a key role in reaching students in smaller towns and underserved areas.

Dr. Abdul Ahad, National Core Team Member, AMP, said that NTS is not merely an examination but a starting point for identifying promising students and connecting them with appropriate guidance and opportunities. He expressed hope that many participating students would go on to pursue higher education and appear for prestigious national-level competitive examinations.

The event also witnessed the felicitation of the awardees of the AMP National Awards for Social Excellence 2026 and AMP National Awards for Excellence in Education 2026, recognising individuals and institutions for their significant contributions to social development and education.

The programme was organised with the support of the AMP Ranchi Chapter Team, with extraordinary contributions from Abdullah Eqbal, National Core Team Member, Tarique Sajjad & Dr. Aftab Alam, Convenors, and Mohammad Talha, Co-Convenor, with backing from Dr. Majeed Alam & Dr. Saeed Ahmed Ansari, Patron Members, and AMP's network of professionals, volunteers, educators, institutions and social organisations across the country.

The launch marked another step in AMP's continuing efforts to identify talent, promote educational aspirations and expand access to guidance and opportunities for students across India.

AMP-NTS 2026 is expected to attract around 2 lakh school and college students, with registrations targeted from 400+ districts and 1,500+ blocks across India. The initiative aims to identify and encourage talented students, particularly those from smaller cities, towns and remote areas, and help them develop the confidence and preparedness required for higher education and national-level competitive examinations.
