AMP ZAKAT FUND REPORT 2023

Transforming Lives, Empowering Futures!

Over 1,483 deserving and underprivileged lives were touched by the AMP Zakat Fund in 2023!

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and one of its defining characteristics. No other religion places such great emphasis on social equity through voluntary charitable contributions. In more than 30 verses of the Holy Qur’an, the giving of Zakat is coupled with prayer (Salah) as a hallmark of the faithful, representing the core economic pillar of Islam.

The AMP Zakat Fund (AZF) was established 12 years ago with a core focus on Education and Self-Employment for underprivileged Muslims. Alhamdulillah, it has grown from a humble collection of Rs. 2 lakhs in 2013 to Rs. 1,43,24,367 from 1,500+ Donors in 2023.

Our Mission: To help *make the Zakat Seekers of today become the Zakat Givers of tomorrow*.
