Major Activities & Initiatives
Following are the key programs and milestones executed by AMP chapters across India during the month of March 2017:
1. Multi-City Job Drives Across India
AMP conducted successful Job Drives across 7 locations in Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, and Mumbai (Andheri, Kalyan, Kurla, and Mira Road):
2. School Development Lectures (SDL) on Study Skills
A nationwide campaign of 126 Skill Development Lectures (SDLs) on Study Skills was conducted from 17th February to 20th March 2017, engaging more than 9,000 students across 50 cities in India. Additionally, 35 regular SDLs were conducted in schools across 16 AMP Chapters.

AMP conducted successful Employability Training Programs led by renowned corporate trainers and AMP members in Mumbai and Bangalore, with over 271 candidate participants:

4. Career Chart Distribution
The informative AMP Career Chart was distributed across more than 15 schools nationwide, providing students and educators with an essential structural roadmap of diverse career trajectories.
5. AMP Zakat Fund 2016-17 Final Disbursements
Under the AMP Zakat Fund 2016-17, complete disbursement was achieved across all earmarked verticals:
- Higher Studies Scholarships: Cheques of ₹10,000 each issued to 31 students.
- Basic School Education: Full school education support provided to 120 Orphan students across various classes.
- Self-Employment Assistance: Cheques of ₹25,000 each presented to 22 beneficiaries to start sustainable micro-enterprises.
*The Zakat fund distribution process for 2016-17 stands officially closed following 100% fund disbursement.
6. Volunteer Appeal for Online Career Counselling Cell
Team AMP launched a national appeal for expert volunteers to join the Nationwide Online Career Counselling Cell to guide students on academic decision-making, successfully onboarding 125 registered volunteer mentors.
Action Roadmap: Plans for April 2017
1. Mega Job Fairs in Bidar & Delhi
Groundwork initiated to conduct large-scale Mega Job Fairs in Bidar (Karnataka) and Delhi for broad candidate mobilization.
2. Multi-City Local Job Drives
Executing localized recruitment drives across multiple partner cities in India to bridge direct employer connections.
3. Full Rollout of Online Career Cell
Operationalizing the Nationwide Online Career Counselling Cell to offer real-time mentoring for students across India.
4. Principals’ Meets Pan-India
Organizing school headmaster and principal assemblies in various cities to systematically expand SDL lecture offerings.
