Winners for AMP’s 4^th National Awards for Social Excellence 2024 announced!

110 NGOs & 100 Individual Changemakers awarded from across the Country!

Winners of the 4^th AMP National Awards for Social Excellence 2024 were announced on the evening of Independence Day, 15th August, 2024, at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, TN, in an eagerly awaited ceremony graced by honourable guests, awardees and a large gathering of participants from across India.

The ceremony was graced by honourable guests mainly presided by Dr. N. Raja Hussain, Registrar of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, Mrs. Mariam Habib, Trustee of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, was the Chief Guest, Mr. Motahar Hosain, Chief Executive, Pataka Group, WB, was the Guest of Honor and Mr. Farooq Siddiqui, Head - AMP National Coordination Team (NCT) and the host for the evening.

The nominations for these awards were called from across India. With the efforts of AMP NGO Connect Team, National Coordination Team (NCT), Zonal Heads and State Leadership Team, AMP received unprecedented nominations of Changemakers from across the country.

These awards were given at the National & State Levels in the following 5 categories;

1. Education
2. Employment/Livelihoods Assistance and
3. Humanitarian Assistance
4. Minority & Human Rights Issues and
5. Other domains important for the society

A 3-tier screening was done at State and Zonal levels to shortlist the nominations. Final winners have been selected by Eminent jury members from the shortlisted NGOs and Individual change makers shared by the AMP National NGO awards screening committee.

AMP congratulates all of the 2024 Social Excellence Award winners. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all NGOs and Changemakers who had applied, and particularly those who have been acknowledged by AMP for their remarkable contributions to the sphere of social services and nation-building. In today's world it is even more important for our society to comprehend the human feeling of freedom, acceptance, tolerance, and coexistence, which are fundamental for a gracious country.  Additionally, each participant will receive a certificate of appreciation.
