10th National Awards for Excellence in Education
The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has been recognizing extraordinary contributions to education through its National Awards for Excellence in Education since 2017. In 2026, we proudly celebrate the 10th Anniversary of this landmark initiative.
These awards serve as a national platform to celebrate teachers, principals, schools, and education leaders who go far beyond their formal responsibilities to inspire, nurture and transform the lives of students across India.
With nominees from over 25 states and a legacy of honoring more than 1,000 educators, the AMP Education Awards are among India's most respected community-driven recognition programs in education.

AMP Education Awards recognize excellence across six categories, ensuring every dimension of educational contribution is celebrated and honored.
Best Teacher Award
Recognizing teachers who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication, innovation, and impact in the classroom. Open to teachers at all levels — primary, secondary, and higher education.

Best School Award
Honoring schools that have achieved outstanding results in holistic student development, inclusive education, and academic excellence across India.

Educational Leadership Award
Celebrating principals, school heads, and education administrators who lead by example and drive systemic change in education.

Education Innovator Award
For educators and institutions introducing breakthrough methodologies, technology integration, or unique learning approaches that inspire the broader education sector.

Community Education Award

Students' Choice Award — My Favourite Teacher
The most popular award category — nominated entirely by students! Students nominate the teacher who has had the most profound impact on their lives, making this award truly special.
Eligibility

- ▸Open to teachers from any institution
- ▸Maximum nominations determine winners
- ▸Top 10 teachers receive the award
