AMP ACHIEVEMENTS – 2024

 

Alhamdulillah! 2024 has been a year of tremendous growth and impact for Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP). With our deep-rooted commitment to Education & Empowerment, our State & Chapter Teams, Volunteers, Partners, and Supporters have worked tirelessly to reachout and impact the underprivileged. The AMP family has grown stronger, and our vision has taken shape in new, exciting ways this year.

The Teacher Training Programs, Job Fairs & Job Drives, Employability Training Programs, School Development Programs, Career Guidance Seminars etc. In short, all the Projects & Chapter team members rose to the occasion and made the most of the available resources for reaching out and impacting the Community and the Nation. Of course, the cherry on the cake was AMP National Talent Search 2024, where we achieved what we had planned, Alhamdulillah!

This is the power of Volunteerism, Collaboration & Partnerships, the Holy Grail of AMP's work philosophy. Alhamdulillah, all the above was possible because not Hundreds but Thousands of individuals collaborated with AMP to make 2024 a Historic success. It was;

We are pleased to share the highlights of our remarkable achievements in 2024, continuing our mission of empowering the community through Education, Employability, and Empowerment.

1. Employment Assistance Cell (EAC):

EAC continues to be a catalyst for employment, organizing various initiatives to connect job seekers with career opportunities across the country.

• 13 Job Fairs and 33 Job Drives organized in 38 cities.
• 40,000+ job seekers registered.
• 10,000+ youths shortlisted for further interviews.
• 3,000+ successfully selected for employment.

 

2. Employability Training Programs (ETP):

AMP has continued to empower final-year college students and fresh graduates with the skills they need to excel in the corporate world.

• 85 ETPs organized online & offline across India.
• 7,000+ students benefitted from these programs, equipping them with vital employability skills.

 

3. AMPowerJobs.com:

AMP’s job portal has seen exceptional growth, offering job seekers free access to resources and opportunities.

• 92,600+ candidates registered.
• 1,98,200+ job vacancies available.
• 1,200+ corporates registered to offer employment opportunities.

 

4. AMP National Talent Search 2024:

The AMP National Talent Search has expanded even further this year, providing talented students with invaluable opportunities for academic success.

• 85,000+ students registered across the 3 categories (High School, Junior College, Senior College).
• 900+ exam centres across 370+ districts and 750+ blocks.
• 10,000+ schools & colleges participated, with 25+ training partners providing Rs 10 Cr+ worth scholarships to the top 500 students.

 

5. AMP World Mobile App:

The AMP World App has become an essential tool for students and teachers, providing access to AMP’s programs and educational resources.

• 200,000+ students downloaded the AMP World App.
• Over 15,000+ students took the NTS 2024 exam via the app.
• Regular information sharing through the App

 

6. IndiaZakat.com:

IndiaZakat.com is India’s pioneering Zakat-based crowdfunding platform, aiming to transform Zakat seekers into Zakat givers. IndiaZakat has created a more inclusive and impactful way for people to contribute and uplift those in need across the country.

• Rs. 5 Crores+ collected through the platform.

• 16,000+ donations received.
• 6000+ families impacted through 1200+ various causes across 30+ states.

 

7. AMP Zakat Fund (AZF):

AMP’s Zakat Fund continues to empower lives by promoting education and self-employment.

• Rs. 1.23 Cr+ collected
• Rs. 46 Lakhs+ disbursed for Higher Education
• Rs. 43 Lakhs+ disbursed for Orphans & Poor Children’s Education
• Rs. 28 Lakhs+ disbursed for Livelihood Assistance

*The disbursements are in process and will be completed by the financial year-end

 

8. Adopt an Orphan or Poor Child Education Assistance:

AMP launched a special project – ‘Adopt an Orphan or Poor Student – Change a Life’ on IndiaZakat.com. It’s not only Orphans who face challenges, but even the students coming from extremely poor background who face issues.

• 800 Orphan & Poor children received education assistance, amounting to more than Rs. 14 Lakhs.
• 1,000 children targeted for support.

 

9. Ulema Support Program:

AMP’s Ulema Support initiative continues to provide essential assistance to Masjid Imams. Supporting Ulemas continues to be a priority through AMP’s initiatives.

• 106 Maulanas supported across various regions.
• Rs. 16 Lakhs allocated to support Ulema livelihoods.

 

10. Teachers’ Training Programs (TTP):

AMP has continued to enhance the professional development of educators through its TTPs. AMP’s Teacher Training Programs (TTP) have expanded, focusing on improving teaching methodologies across the country.

• 80+ TTPs organized across the country.
• 18,000+ educators impacted.

 

11. School Development Programs (SDP):

AMP’s School Development Programs have impacted thousands of high school students by providing academic guidance and career counselling.

• 22,000+ students benefitted
• 170+ SDP programs across India.

 

12. Career Guidance Seminars (CGS):

AMP’s Career Guidance Seminars provide essential support for students and parents in choosing the right academic and career paths.

• 5,000+ students benefitted
• 15 CGS programs held across major cities.

 

13. AMP NGO Connect:

AMP continues to collaborate with NGOs to amplify the impact of our programs. AMP’s collaborations with NGOs have expanded to further support the community.

• 7,000+ NGOs connected.
• Collaborated for projects like National Talent Search Exam, Job Fairs & Job Drives, Employability Training Programs and others.
• NGO meetings held, NGO capacity building implemented, NGO Conferences attended

 

14. AMP National Awards for Social Excellence (NASE):

Recognizing the contributions of NGOs and individuals, the AMP NASE continues to honour Non-profits and individual changemakers across the country. The NASE Awards were organised on 15^th August, Independence Day, and continues to honor exceptional contributions to nation-building.

• 1,000+ NGOs connected.
• 100+ exceptional NGOs awarded
• 100+ individual changemakers were honoured for their contributions.

 

15. AMP National Awards for Excellence in Education (NAEE):

AMP’s recognition of educators and institutions continues to inspire excellence in the education domain. AMP organised its 8^th National Award for Excellence in Education on 5^th September, Teachers Day, honouring:

• 150 influential Educators from Schools, Colleges, Universities & Madaris.
• 7 model institutions and
• 4 exceptional visionaries across India.

 

16. Higher Education Roadmap:

AMP continued its efforts to improve higher education outcomes for the Muslim community. AMP’s expert consultations have focused on preparing a strategic roadmap to address the low enrolment of Muslims in higher education.

• Meetings conducted in various cities across the Country

• Academicians, policymakers, social leaders and experts were invited to discuss educational challenges and solutions.

 

17. AMP Institution Connect:

AMP’s collaboration with educational institutions has reached new heights, benefiting students across the country. AMP continues its efforts to connect with educational institutions to implement its programs.

• 40 Institutions Signed MOU
• 1 Faculty Development Program (NEP) attended by 370+ participants
• 1 Management Development Program (Establishing & Managing Educational Institution) attended by 320+ + participants

 

18. AMP Masjid Connect:

The AMP Masjid Connect initiative aims to strengthen community engagement through masajids across India. By promoting collaboration and providing essential support, AMP Masjid Connect empowers masajids to serve as centers of learning, welfare, and social harmony.

• AMP Career Chart was displayed and Books donated at the ECR Mosque in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
• AMP Tenkasi Team of Tamil Nadu displayed NTS posters in 8 Masajids across Tenkasi district

 

19. AMP Internship Program:

AMP has continued to offer valuable internship opportunities for students, contributing to their career growth.

• 100+ interns registered this year, actively volunteering for various AMP Projects

 

Conclusion:

AMP’s achievements in 2024 are a testament to our ongoing commitment to uplift the community. From empowering students to providing employment opportunities, from supporting educators to fostering social welfare, AMP continues to drive impactful initiatives. We look forward to reaching out further and positively impacting the Community by working together to achieve even greater milestones in the years to come.
