2. AMP conducted Employability Training Programme (ETP) across the country. The 1st Session was a 2-day workshop held on 17th and 18th August, 2017, organized in association with Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur. The 2nd Session was organized on Saturday, 19th August, 2017 in Maharashtra College of Arts & Commerce, Mumbai in association with ‘Society for Students Upliftment’.

3. On the occasion of Independence Day, a Skill Development Lecture (SDL) National Campaign titled, ‘Hum Banenge Hind ki Nayi Pehchan’ was organized all over India to give the students an insight on Careers in Nation Building. 63 lectures were conducted between 12^th - 19^th August 2017, which were attended by over 10,000 students in 25 Cities all over India.

4. As per the decision taken at the AMP National Executive Meeting held on 12^th Aug’17, to implement Appreciation System for our various Projects in all our Chapters, we started by announcing the SDL Star of the Month for August 2017. Mrs. Sakina Abdeali Basta from Mumbai was chosen for the 1^st award, for her commitment and dedication towards SDLs, which made her cover 5 to 6 schools on a monthly basis. She is very energetic and enthusiastic, which has been inspiring many more speakers to join SDL and serve the community.

5. 44 Skill Developments Lectures (SDLs) were conducted on Communication Skills, in the month of August 2017. The lectures were conducted all over India which was attended by over 4,000 students in 25 Cities all over India.

6. AMP held its National Executive Meeting on 12^th Aug’17 at Karimi Library Hall, Anjuman-i-Islam, C.S.T., Mumbai. As part of our 10^th year Commemoration, we have planned reach-out programmes to connect with Important AMP Leaders across India. This meeting was to bring them together on one platform and communicate AMP’s special plans for Expansion and New Chapter Development. This meeting was attended by more than 50 active AMP Members and Leaders from across India.

7. AMP held a Senior Professionals’ meeting on 26^th Aug’17 to start developing a roadmap for the Economic Development of the Community.  We undertook a historic precedence of bringing together senior professionals from different verticals under one roof in order to formulate a long-term   roadmap for the Economic Empowerment of the Community and its Welfare.

8. AMP Vaniyambadi and Chennai Chapters organised 3 Day multiple events in Vaniyambadi and Chennai from 25th Aug - 27th Aug, 2017, as follows;

1. First ever Job Drive was conducted at Vaniyambadi where 10 Companies, 266 Candidates participated and 105 of them got the Employment.
2. Train the Trainer Program was conducted for Newly formed Ladies Wing of Vaniyambadi Chapter.
3. A meeting with key social leaders of Chennai was organized for a brainstorming session on how to expand AMP Projects all over TN. Also, future plans on conducting Job Drives in Ambur, Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Salem and Dharmapuri was also discussed.

9. AMP Mumbra Chapter organized 'Train the Trainer' program on Saturday, 26th August 2017. The session was attended by 21 new speakers. The lecture was arranged at Winsome Flora English High School, Mumbra. It was a very knowledgeable program which helped the speakers to understand the method of conducting the Skill Development Lectures (SDLs).

10. As part of AMP Higher Scholarship Fund 2017 we received about 1000 applications from students of various cities of the country. The students were shortlisted based on merit and their details were sent to the Chapter Leaders for the verification. The disbursement process has already started and inshaAllah we hope finish it by end of September.

11. AMP Monthly Chapter Meetings were conducted in 4 cities in the Country in August, 2017. The cities were Gulbarga, Mumbra, Chennai and Vaniyambadi. The main intention of these Chapter Meetings was to bring the Members and Volunteers together and work out a plan of action for the next month and the quarter. 
 

Tentative Plans for the month of August, 2017

We will be observing the following activities: 

1. Insha Allah this month we will be finalizing the beneficiaries of AMP Higher Education Scholarship Fund, AMP Orphan Education Assistance Fund and AMP Self Employment Assistance Fund.

2. AMP Job Drives are planned this month in the cities of Mumbai, Thane, Bhiwandi, Pune, Delhi, Amritsar, Hubli, Nasik, Jodhpur, Indore and Chennai.

3. SDL Guidance Lectures on the occasion of Independence Day ‘Hum Banenge Hind ki Nayi Pehchan’ is being planned to cover 300 schools all over India.

4. AMP has tied up with multiple agencies like ICICI Academy for Skills, Tech Mahindra Foundation, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and others, to conduct Training Programmes to enhance the skills of our Youngsters so they can get better placements easily insha Allah.

5. AMP ETPs (Employability Training Programmes) are planned in various colleges of Mumbai and other cities all over the country. We have enlisted the help of expert Trainers from different parts of the country to help us in this regard.
