I, Riyaz Ahmed Kharadi would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the members of Association of Muslim Professionals for providing me Rs. 10,000/- as relief aid in the Sep 2014 Kashmir floods. I am a poor daily wage labourer with a very meagre income and my wife often remains in very poor health. Life had always been difficult for us as work was very hard to find and whatever little I could earn was spent on our daily requirements and food. Many a times the money wasn’t even enough for me to buy medicines for my wife. Due to this her health was getting worse day by day. When the floods hit the valley it seemed everything that once stood in front of us was completely uprooted and nothing remained. We had little hope of survival, however by the grace of Allah AMP came to our aid. I utilized this amount of Rs. 10,000/- to buy new labour equipment/tools and a cart to create a steady source of livelihood for my family. May Allah give big rewards to all Association of Muslim Professionals members for this humanitarian action.
