We are glad to share with you that after successful Job Fair last Sunday, the Mumbai AMP Team organized one of the largest Skills Development Lecture (SDL) which was attended by 100 students & teachers on 23 April Sept 2016 at Anjuman Khairul Islam D.Ed (Diploma in Education) College at Kurla, Mumbai.

This SDL was specifically designed for the future Teachers of the community in association with our special speaker Mr. Abdulla Hasan thakur (Advisor to Chairman/Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)  Al Ghanim Trading Company, Kuwait), A Self Confidence and Leadership speaker who is a well rounded Management Consultant, Personality Development Coach and a Corporate Trainer residing in Kuwait . He has been regularly conducting specialized SDL with our Team whenever he visits Mumbai.

A warm welcome speech was given by Miss. Maimoona Khan, Principal, Anjuman Khairul Islam D.Ed College at  Kurla   to welcome the AMP Mumbai team and the speaker Mr. Abdullah Thakur. While the event was facilitated by Miss. Heena from the same college.

After the brief introduction of AMP by Ms. Rifat Modi, the podium was handed over to Mr. Abdulla Hasan thakur who had customized his modules to motivate Urdu speaking audience. He lightened up the minds of audience by sharing his deep knowledge on Personality Development and the importance of it for Teachers. The lecture moved from self-motivation to self actualization and then went on to discussing current trends and techniques used by western education system to engage students and to bring best out of them.

The crowd was moved by the self confidence he instilled in them and his constant admiration of the Teacher as a fraternity. He expressed his personal gratitude towards Teachers and how important it is to value them in our society as he proudly referred them as “Ustaad". He also spoke about how a personality should be developed in a positive sense of society and being a Muslim how we should represent the Muslim Community. After the session on Personality Development the next session was a Motivation lecture where he shared western methods that are employed in big Multinational companies to effectively manage business and how these methods can be customized by individuals to help achieve their life goals.

This program was also attended by Mr. Najeeb Syed (GS, AMP) who also spoke to the audience and explained in detail about AMP’s efforts to train the teachers for having exponential impact thousands of students who are our future generation. He also spoke in detail about Mr. Abdullah and his achievements in Corporate.

The function then concluded with a feed back of the Principal of Anjuman Khairul Islam D.Ed College followed by vote of thanks with assurance of arranging such kinds of programs in future Insha Allah.
