AMP Career Guidance Seminat at Newtown Kolkata

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Newtown Kolkata Chapter organized a Career Guidance Seminar…… Sitaron Se Aage Jahan Aur Bhi Hain….. on Saturday, 6th October 2018 at Newtown Kolkata.


The Seminar was conducted at Chhapna High Madrasah, wherein 122 Students & 5 parents attended the lecture. The program started with recitation of Qiraat by Maulana Jabihullah Qasmi and followed with a short talk on importance of Education in Islam.

Mr. Mohammed Omar Khan, State Head, AMP West Bengal gave a short introduction of AMP while Mrs. Shagufta Parveen, Chapter Head, Kolkata City motivated students on learning foreign languages and briefed students about its scope in future.

Mr. Manzar Hussain, senior AMP Member gave a presentation on Career Planning and SWOT Analysis. It was followed by a motivational speech and short talk on Interview facing skills by Guest Speaker, Mr. Shabbir Khan, Communication Trainer and Training Manager at TCS Kolkata.

Mr. Manirul Islam, AMP member from Newtown Kolkata and a Senior Professional gave presentation on various Career Options after XIIth in Arts. It was followed by a brief summary of various Career Options in Science by Mr. Zaid Sultan.

2 sets of AMP Career Charts printed on PVC sheet were presented to the Headmaster. Mr. S. Mobarak Hossain who was all praise for the organisation and requested us to continue such events in the future in his school and assured his full support to Team AMP Newtown Kolkata.

Students showed keen interest in the programme & actively participated with the speaker. They found the programme very fruitful and got inspired by the speech and thoughts of all the Speakers.

The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Zaid Sultan on behalf of Team AMP and distribution of sweets to the participants. Mr. Zaid Sultan & Mr. Salim Ali active AMP member from Newtown Kolkata co-ordinated the entire program.
