The Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) successfully conducted a job drive in Bangalore on December 24, 2016, at the Hazrat Hameed Shah Complex. Out of 120 registered candidates, 44 attended the interviews, resulting in 6 spot offers and 31 shortlisted for further consideration. Three companies from the Telecom, Services, and BPO sectors participated, expressing interest in future collaborations with AMP due to the quality of candidates. The event was led by Mr. Nashit Syed, with support from AMP Governing Council Members Dr. Zahida Khan and Mr. Mohammed Aaqil, and volunteer Mr. Imtiyaz Khan. The initiative received positive feedback, with local organizations eager to partner with AMP for future job drives. Mrs. Nazneen Begum, a senior social reformer, praised AMP's impactful work in the community. The AMP team is grateful for the support received and is already planning another job drive for late January 2017.

In line with Association Of Muslim Professionals (AMP) core objective of social welfare and supporting the community in achieving Economic Empowerment, AMP conducted a Job Drive at Hazrat Hameed Shah Complex, Corporation Circle, Bengaluru on 24th Dec, 2016.
120 candidates registered through online registration out of which 44 candidates were able to appear for the personal interview and 6 candidates were successful in securing offers on the spit while another 25 were shortlisted for the next rounds.
3 corporates from Telecom, Services and BPO sector participated in the event with job offerings in different functions and at various levels . Happy with the turnout and being content with the quality of candidates these corporates expressed their willingness for a long-term partnership with AMP to participate in future Job Drives in Bengaluru. Further since 120 candidates had registered online and some of them were unable to attend, the recruiters said that they would themselves connect with the candidates who could not attend, which was quite heartening.
The successful conduct of the event was based on the undulating and dedicated hard work of Mr. Nashit Syed, Head of Membership Team who was ably supported and closely supervised by AMP Governing Council Members - Dr. Zahida Khan and Mr. Mohammed Aaqil. The ground activities were sincerely supported by Mr. Imtiyaz Khan, Core member - volunteer from AMP Bengaluru Chapter.
Post culmination of the event Mr. Nashit Syed, Head of Membership, said "This event is significant for AMP since we now have several local organizations approaching us to partner with AMP in this noble endeavor. We already have started working on next drive, planned tentatively in late January 2017".
Ms. Zahida Khan, said "The response has been quite encouraging, considering the fact this was just the second such job drive conducted by AMP in Bengaluru".
The entire AMP team was thankful especially to Mrs.Nazneen Begum former MLC and a very sebnior social reformer in Bangalore and other good samaritans who had facilitated availability of the venue for conducting this event.
Mrs.Nazneen Begum said, 'It was just last week that I got to know AMP more closely when I got an opportunity to have a meeting with AMP General Secretary Mr. Syed Najeeb, where we were discussing about various AMP activities including Job Fairs and Job Drives and I was already impressed. And then seeing AMP conducting ground activity in the very week and that too so successfully is very encouraging and praiseworthy and has stamped their position in my heart. Seeing them touching the lives of so many people is truly heart-rendering and it is a pleasure to be associated with an organization such as AMP I would like to wish them more and more success in their noble endeavours"
