590 Got Spot Job Offer And 1102 Were Shortlisted

590 Candidates got selected and 1102 Candidates were shortlisted in the Job Fair in Vadodara, Gujarat, organised by AMP and Darul Uloom Tandalja

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized a Mega Job Fair in Vadodara, Gujarat on 16th Feb, 2019 in association with Darul Uloom Tandalja which was a huge success.

The Job Fair was conducted on the premises of Rightway School and Darul Uloom Tandalja, Vadodara to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of caste, community and creed. Through this mega event, the organizers endeavoured to give back to the Nation what they have received by helping the youth get meaningful Jobs. World Bharuchi Vora Patel Organisation (WBVPO) and Bazme Ittehad Committee, Vadodara and Rising Indians and Total Education Awareness Amongs Muslim (TEAM) supported the event by providing the resources needed for the Job Fair.

 

More than 55 Corporates from across various industries participated in this Job Fair with a turnout of more than 3500+ Candidates. At the end of the day 590 candidates were given on-the-spot offers by the recruiters while 1102 were shortlisted for the next round of selection.  

Mr. Jabir Choksi, Gujarat State Head, AMP, welcomed the dignitaries and the candidates at the Job Fair. He mentioned that “AMP has been empowering the youth by organising these Job Fairs for more than 5 years now and has organised 33 such Job Fairs all over the Country. This is our 3rd Job Fair in Gujarat after Surat & Ahmedabad.”

Mr. Razak Shaikh, Head, AMP-Projects who spoke on the occasion said “It gives me immense happiness that places of religious learning like Darul Uloom Tandelja are taking the lead in organising such Job Fairs. This will help the general public and go a long way in removing the misgivings about these Institutions. We are partnering and collaborating with such Institutions all over the Country so that our youth and the Society at large can benefit”.

 

Mr. Mufti Mohd. Arif Abbas Hakimi, Head, Darul Uloom Tandalja who spoke on the occasion said “It is a matter of great pleasure organising this Job Fair for the unemployed youth of Vadodara, irrespective of caste, creed and community. The intention of holding this Job Fair in our premises was to let our youth observe us and understand how we function so we repel our misunderstandings leading to harmony. Another reason of organising the Job Fair was that so our youth go for legitimate ways of earning their livelihood and hence live in an ethical manner.”

Mr. Nasir Patel, Entrepreneur & Secretary WBVPO and the spearhead for the Job Fair said “Through my contacts and experience in the HR industry we came to the conclusion that our youth need to be exposed to the rigorous standards of the Corporates. Hence the idea of this Job Fair was born so that our youth could be groomed.”

 

Mr. Nayyar Hashmi, Vadodara Chapter Head - AMP, said “AMP has been organising Job Fairs all over the Country and when a couple of Social Welfare Organisations approached us, we decided to put our best foot forward. There is a lot of hard work and dedication which has gone into organising this Job Fair”

Mr. Soheb Selia, General Secretary - AMP said “AMP has so far organized 30+ Mega Job Fairs and hundreds of Job Drives in the last 7 years and helped placing more than 15,000 candidates during these initiatives across more than 90 AMP Chapters all over the Country. We now aim to skill train 10000+ youths and place 5000+ Candidates through AMP Job Fairs & Job Drives in 2019”.

 

The defining moment of this Job Fair came when a few Swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadodara attended the inaugural event and gave their prayers and blessing for the Job Fair and Candidates. At the beginning of the Job Fair, a few of the top rankers like Dr. Ashraf Kesrani 1st rank holder of PG-Neet, Mr. Shadab Hussain, 1st rank holder and Mr. Shahid Husen Shokat Memon 2nd rank holder of ICAI-CA Final exams were also felicitated to inspire and motivate the Candidates to do better.

 

The event was a result of dedication and hard work of AMP Vadodara & Ahmedabad Chapter Team Members especially Mr. Imtiyazuddin Shaikh. Mr. Sagir Ansari of Bazme Ittihad Committee and his team worked tirelessly to ensure that all arrangements were in place before the Corporates and Candidates arrived. The staff and students of Darul Uloom Tandelja extended all help and assistance in organising the Job Fair. The WBVPO team members supported the AMP Team in Corporate & Queue Management and the Police personnel managed the crowd admirably.
