AMP organized Teachers Training Workshop Kalyan

AMP Kalyan Chapter Organized a Teachers Training Workshop (TTW) on Sat, 1st Sept 2018

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized an interactive Teachers Training Workshop at Asra Foundation in Kalyan located near Mumbai on Sat, 1st Sept 2018. It was a two-hour workshop from 11am to 1pm. The topic of the session was ‘How To Be An Effective Teacher’.

There were close to 60 teachers who attended the workshop. Mr. Mizab Bhoje, who is a well-known professional in the Training industry and works withDale Carnegie Training, India, was the Speaker for the session. He has more than 15 years of Corporate and Training experience.

There was an overwhelming response from the Teachers, who found the session to be very beneficial for them. They were very delighted with the way Mr. Bhoje conducted the workshop. They mentioned that the speaker was very passionate and highly motivated which came across very clearly during the course of the session. They also found the different activities conducted during the session very interesting which motivated them to participate wholeheartedly. Over all the Teachers appreciated AMP’s effort in coordinating the entire program for the school.

Highlights discussed in the workshop:

1.      Characteristics of A Good Teacher

2.      Developing Unique Teaching Style

3.      Innovative Methods to Attract Students Attention

4.      Classroom Management Plan

5.      Making A Difference

6.      Teach the Right Way for Your Own Style

Mr. Bhoje made the session very interactive which allowed the Teachers to understand themselves in a better way. This instilled a sense of personal touch as Teachers are always busy developing students and often neglect themselves. Mr. Bhoje said, “In the 21st century the role of a Teacher has undergone tremendous change, with new challenges emerging in the holistic development of the students. Hence, such workshops are required to enable the teachers to be in touch with the ever rising challenges in the field of Education through Professional development”.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Navid Shaikh Kalyan Chapter Coordinator and Mr. Arfat Majeed Member, Asra Foundation. This was AMP’s way to play its part in bringing about a sense of motivation amongst the Teachers. The Teachers and the staff of Asra Foundation requested AMP to conduct more such workshops in the near future.

Mr. Razak Shaikh, Head-Projects at AMP said “With the moving times, it is our responsibility to support and give back to society, particularly Teachers who play an important role in nurturing and shaping our lives”.

Regards,
Team AMP
