Empower Lives Through Zakat

We are all surely geared up for upcoming Holy month of Ramazan. This is the time to ponder and to reflect upon the mercies bestowed by The Almighty upon us and how we can better serve Him. This month of gaining ‘Taqwa’, drawing closer to Allah, striving for ‘Ihsan’, acquiring patience, refining manners, learning one can change, learning discipline, sensing unity among Muslims and being more charitable through Sadqa, Hadiya, Zakat & Fitra.

Zakat is one duty which is religiously observed by devoute Muslims throughout the year and more so during the month of Ramazan as this is the month of Blessings wherein the Good Deeds are multiplied. The word Zakat means both ‘purification’ and ‘growth’. Our possessions are purified by setting aside a proportion for those in need, and, like the pruning of plants, this cutting back, balances and encourages new growth.

The Qur’an always emphasizes on the issue of feeding the hungry and helping those who are in need, and the more you help, the more God helps you. And the more you give, the more God gives you.

Wherein a yearly support of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) is given to students pursuing Higher Education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, etc. By this endeavor AMP hopes that the worries of the student getting assistance would be reduced to some extent and they can focus better on their education and try to build a good base for themselves.

2. Support A Small Business – Make A Happy Family

These are the gems of the society and AMP hopes that through this endeavor it will help these gems shine brighter and they can always come back to help more of the needy people.
