AMP Organized Lectures at 75 Schools in India on Importance of Education with regards to National Education Day

Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) had successfully organized a highly effective National Campaign on 15th Nov 14 to create awareness amongst the Students about Importance of Education.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” with this belief and as a unique and humble tribute to the achievements of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in the field of education, Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) had organised Skills Development Lectures (SDL) in various cities across India simultaneously on the 15th of November 2014. Nearly 150 AMP volunteers helped in conducting these lectures across the country. Lectures were conducted in 75 Schools and educational institutions and attended by more than 10,000 students in different towns and cities by AMP members which is unprecedented till date.

National Education Day on 11th November is an annual observance in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of ‘Bharat Ratna’ Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of independent India. Followed by 14th November being celebrated as Children’s day, AMP decided to give an invaluable gift to children, the gift of knowledge and education. The theme of the campaign was titled "Kamyabi ka Wahid Rasta........Taleem” translated as "?The only path to success...….Education”. The SDL was intended to aware the students about the importance of education and emphasis was given on pursuing quality of education. Volunteers had given detailed information about getting admission into IIT’s, AIIMS and IIM’s with audio visual aids.

The event was well appreciated by School Management, Teachers & Parents where these SDLs were conducted. Also, received feedback to conduct similar lectures on ongoing basis.
